SpiicyCheeseSauce
The past two or three days, I would randomly (and frequently) get large framedrops (down to about 20 fps on average) no matter where I am, be it in an open world, a random mission or even in my orbiter. I'm uncertain of what exactly is causing these issues, considering every day prior, I've been playing the game just fine at 144 fps, sometimes at about 120-130 fps in high detail open world areas but still fine nonetheless. My friends figured it might have been due to extensive use of my laptop I use to play it, but it happens even when I just start up the game, no matter how long I've been playing. I very rarely have things open in the background, discord for vc and rarely google for price checks, but even having those open had no impact prior. I really would like to figure out why such framedrops are happening. It's pretty hard to shoot something at 15 fps. Edit: I might want to add that lowering my graphics settings, fov, etc. did nothing to fix the issue. As well, for those who may want to know, when I get home in about an hour, I can post my specs here to see if it may be an issue with that, though I doubt it, again, game played perfectly fine prior. Edit 2: Processor is a AMD Ryzon 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90GHz, 16GB RAM x64 based processor and 64-bit os. I checked to see which DirectX I'm using, it says 11 in the warframe launcher, although when I clicked to change the version I was using, I was only given 11 and 10 as options, no 12. I checked my processor drivers, they were up to date. As of right now, I switched to DirectX 10 to see if that'll help.

Posting your specs could help. Can you also check to make sure you have updated to the latest GPU drivers? Also, which version of Direct X are you running with the game? If it's DX11, can you try switching to DX10, or vice versa?
SpiicyCheeseSauce
I edited it, but to make it easier to see I guess, Processor is a AMD Ryzon 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90GHz, 16GB RAM x64 based processor and 64-bit os. Not sure if this'll help but I'm also verifying and optimizing cache to see if that'll do anything. Edit: Forgot to mention, my computer does have DX 12. It just doesn't show up in the launcher for some reason. Edit 2: Doing these didn't work. Still having framedrops at random occasions.

Did you know that laptop graphics chips are unique and this means the drivers aren't maintained, and they are more prone to driver issues.
SpiicyCheeseSauce
So then how do I fix the issue? I've already checked all of my drivers and they're all up to date, with no luck.
Savire510
large fps drops? Laptop? Have you checked your temperatures to make sure you arent throttling? Thermal throttling can reduce gpu and cpu speed to a crawl and that may cause significant fps drops.
