So if you really enjoy using a particular warframe, getting its prime version will absolutely be something you'll want to do sooner or later - it just depends on how much it'll cost you (in terms of effort/plat). And make sure you monitor which frames/weapons are getting vaulted - you want to have the relevant parts before they are. In the case of Limbo Prime, he's only been vaulted fairly recently, so there are still plenty of his relics floating around - do some public fissures and you'll get most of his parts dropping. You'll probably have to trade for the last part of him (Neuroptics and Chassis are rare drops), but that will still be cheaper than buying the whole set Why does nobody add that Prime Warframes don't just have Polarity and stats difference they also gain Energy refill boosts from Death Orbs when in Void missions? It is a real thing :)

You can get the parts only when someone is opening vaulted relics in pub Right. But he was out forever. So many of his relics just stashed in player's inventory (hence, in abundance out there). I have about 300 of his relics right now.

Methanoid
Limbo prime has the above mentioned advantages in basic stats, not in power abiity/strength, his remaining ability as a prime is to visually look cooler while he is trolling the rest of the team. vegetosayajin
no, there is no difference in abilities in primes/umbra and non-primes the only different one is umbra's 2 that strips sentient resistances

Other than that there aren't any inherent buffs to his abilities, they'll perform exactly the same as a Limbo with the same mod configuration. Primed Warframes also have Energy Refill boosts during Void missions. Standing on or next to a Death Orb (rotating lasers or knockdown ground pound) will give a hefty Energy refill to the Prime and I think some to Allies within proximity.. something like that

(PSN)zenhumphrey
Prime warframes will not have different or stronger abilities, only stronger stats like health or shield, not talking about range, efficiency, power strength or duration.
