Medical Debt Bonds are either bugged or very stupid

Common reward from tier 3 Fortuna bounty? I have had Medical Debt Bonds drop ONCE out of 15+ bounties. I've lost count now. I've been doing bounties occasionally over the last few days and decided last night to commit to them until they dropped. I did bounty after bounty and FINALLY one dropped but I've had none since then. The rare drops from this bounty have dropped a bunch of times but NO BONDS.

Ticker hasn't sold them for me in 4-5 days since the first time I checked and I have been checking multiple times each day.

I just want to unlock Heist bounties and gild my god damn Moa. Why do I have to commit to such an uphill grind?

 

This grind is absolute BS. Something this essential to ranking up should not have a drop rate THIS LOW. Why does DE try so hard to prevent players from experiencing the content they make? Why gate Heists behind so much busy work? Why does it take 5x as long to get Medical Debt Bonds as it does to reach standing cap? SO MUCH WAITING

Don't people usually just buy specific bonds they need with resources directly from ticker? Kinda like how the entirety of Deimos is run now?

Yeah, on the rare occasions Ticker brings them and you have the right resources to buy with from her.

As someone that was farming them not too long ago. I can tell you they are 100% not common i spent over a week doing the same bounty over over (almost 100 i believe) to get 6 in total.

Something is definitely up with them or something changed of late (since demios?). Ticker gives them now and then but even that is insanely rare. Most decorating stuff uses like 10 of them.

Edit : by week i mean 27.5k rep per day.

this is why we need DE to go back and update Fortuna again, not just becuase we still need the third Orb Mother, but because then they can look at stuff like this and the Vox Systems grind.. I shudder whenever I remember that.. so many Phase 2 runs... so many....

drops from profit taker, so you can obtain tons of it quite fast.if you ain't have access to pt then rip.

Medical bonds were a pain the first time.

Make sure to only do stage one of the bounty for 20% chance then abandon, repeat until your soul is drained.

I lucked out and got a bounty that was always kill 25 enemies for the first stage, right next to Fortuna.

There is far too much rng for syndicate rank up in fortuns, and It's not even plat bypassable, so there is no point. It's not like they are locking it to make money, it's just a flawed design.

Hey, so, just so you know, from the official drop tables:

You get at 20% chance of 2 MDB's from Stage 1 of the 20-40 Vallis bounties. (It goes downhill from there)

So your chance of not getting that x2 drop is 80% in a single Stage 1 run

In your example of nothing in 15 bounties, that is (.8^15) a 3.5% chance of getting that outcome or worse, seems low right, seems like you shouldn't have luck that bad?

Well, here's the thing, how many people are currently doing that conten?t because out of every 100 you would expect over 3 people to have exactly your experience or worse. There are 68K people playing warframe right now via steam, most of whom have probably already completed this content, so that's  almost 2.4K players who we expect to have had an equal or worse time than your example.

And people who have a bad experience like that are much, much more likely to post on the forums about it.

With a high enough player population very, very unlinkly RNG aoutcomes become expected I'm afraid (Unless DE decided to cap drop attempts)

It's a damn shame DE gave up on Fortuna and never bothered to fix these issues and improve the progression. Why even bother making all that content when its being locked behind terrible progression with apparently broken drop chance? Not to mention bounties themselves being some of the most unfun missions.

And now they've made Xaku also being locked behind Fortuna syndicate! 

 

Its probably as broken as was Sciliant drop from Deimos bounties and the game UI lies about it being 'common'.

Just wait for Atmo Systems. Had one drop after 98 runs. 10% chance 

The other component 7,5% chance (repeller) I had drop like 10 times.

I saw a 5x pack of medical bonds just last night, so can we stop quoting people who encourage OP to just buy from Ticker? It's still viable...

That said, while he does still sell them I agree his stock is rarer than it probably should be. I suspect even the drop rates from bounties may be rarer than they should be (as was the case with Scintellant).

Gonna echo the fact that often when I've checked Ticker's inventory she has only had shelter and training bonds available and it took ages for her stock to include medical debt bonds.

Ticker is trans, and uses She/Her pronouns as confirmed by the writer, and her dialogue

I was not aware of any of that, I guess I'm the one whose mistaken... did I miss a line of dialogue or two, or is it just more subtle? I thought Ticker might be a gay male character, didn't know she was meant to be trans. 

I admit I haven't sat down and made sure I heard every unique line of dialogue, but I've been around Ticker a bit and never heard anything that made me think that. Are the lines that indicate it mostly after you get to max rank and unlock Ticker's face? Because I admit I've barely used her since then.

I'm having the same problem as op. 
Been trying for a week to get medical bonds and all that ever drops from that first part of the bounty is endo, and Ticker ONLY has Training and Shelter bonds after checking repeatedly with several inventory refreshes. 

The drop is extremely broken.
