Shield ospreys provide shields to the Profit-Taker since update 27.2.0 (warframe revised), even DURING the armor phase.

Shield Ospreys used to not affect the Profit-Taker at all, which is assumed to be intended behaviour.
This changed with the Warframe Revised update: shield mechanics were revised and among other things, shield ospreys have been giving the Profit-Taker shields ever since.

This cannot possibly be intended behaviour as:

1. If it occurs during the armor phase, you have to unequip your Arch-Gun, then take out the element, to then re-equip the Arch-Gun. Here's a short compilation of the bug occurring.
2. If it occurs during the shield phase, there is a tiny sliver of shields added (as little as 66), that requires you to clear an additional element. If the player is not expecting this, they may already take out their Arch-Gun, only to be surprised by the fact that the shield phase is still going.
3. It wasn't in the patch notes.
4. It adds an extra layer of unfun RNG that is outside of your control to the fight.

The bug is 100% reproducible, can happen during any stage and occurs quite frequently in normal gameplay.

i can tell this must be god awfully annoying but seeing the video and you swapping out of archgun mode makes me think that you say out loud "mother f@#$!" mid mission. Especially when you went out your way to kill the first drone lmao.

O yay can't wait for this fix on console thanks Rebecca i hope they don't forget the heavy gunner damage bug that still needs fixing. Hate going to POE and having level 10s take out my Inaros 10k hp in less than a second lol.

After doing a few runs myself I can say this is a lovely QoL fix now if only the spawning in a RJ when entering a dojo could be fixed then we can have salvation.
