Voltage Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 I've been playing a fair bit of Mirage lately, and Prism would be much more enjoyable to use if the drain was removed and the duration was increased tremendously. The whole blind Mirage build was nerfed years ago, and I feel Prism could be interesting if it was given more base duration and no drain. If the drain is to stay, just remove the duration entirely and let players use it like other toggle abilities. Also, please increase the casting speed. Because Xaku is new and Mirage is not. Xaku will be left to rot when the next Warframe releases. I know feedback on Mirage probably won't go anywhere, but I just wanted to post somewhere that this ability has been heavily neglected since it was nerfed, and it is easily salvageable. The ability is decent but no way explains the huge cost AND slow casting animation. Also the light mechanics with Mirage really need looked at. The game does a pretty poor job differentiating between light and dark areas on a number of maps. In this, the age of Steel Path and progressively higher-scaling content, abilities like Prism do not remain competitive due to how the game scales damage reduction on higher level content. It’s because years ago Prism was super strong, so DE nerfed it a bunch. But the game has moved up in player power requirement so Prism isn’t as effective as it used to be.
