Izaki11
While Warframe does have many interesting and well-done animations for melee, I've always wanted, for the longest time, a more practical approach to the art of melee combat. I would definitely believe that many players enjoy the fancy and finesse-filled animations that currently saturate the game, but I'm very sure that I'm not the only one that finds flips and twirls a little too ridiculous for slapping a foe or two around. Would you not be interested in something of this sort? While I am not one to frequently purchase cosmetics in any game, I would most certainly make an exception for something like this. Any thoughts? I think it would be a great excuse for animators to try something new. Who knows, maybe there could be a follow-up with more historically-accurate weapon models, as well? TheFlameFlash
More melee stances is always fun Having practical approach for me means considering postures? (not sure if this is the correct word) like in sekiro the only enemies that actually block are shield Lancers and elite shield lancers which are common example the other being prosecutor which is only found in a single tile set blocking by melee enemies feels under used rbh
Izaki11
Though the idea itself is merely a cosmetic suggestion, I readily agree with what you suggest. In my opinion, melee could use so much additional mechanic work, that it's insane. That is definitely a topic for another thread (of which I'm sure there are plenty), however. Even so, there's something to appreciate about sensible ("realistic") fighting styles, rather than the "sci-fi anime-battle trope".
