BornWithTeeth Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 All I can recall is the argument from someone here that Plague Star is actually not good for acquiring Forma, and that it is more time efficient to grind for Prime bits, sell them for plat, and buy Forma. Which, uh. Huh. Sure buddy. Anyway, that's going to be a delicious source of outrage, but don't worry, remember you can always grind for bits, then sell those bits for plat. One of the reasons for the event is because it provides forms ... other than that the event dies and events is the weak point of the warframe. I remember that I didn't manage to get the union up to the maximum and bought everything properly ... I bought about 150 ... and today I'm under 50 .... the speed with which weapons and warframes come out is high. And I will no longer be able to experiment at the speed I wanted. All my platinum earned was initially from buying platinum in DE itself when I started ... I helped DE with something around 250 dollars .... apparently now they want to put the knife in our throat ... maybe I even have to look for other games. Why would we-" Reb cuts him off Reb: "Oh because Plague Star gave built Forma" Pablo now remembers that Plague Star gave built Forma, the previous statement was NOT a confirmation about removing Forma from Plague Star. Pablo: "Oh! Right, right." 15:35 Reb: "That is not what I'm refering to" (Built Forma are not part of the "Just some" rewards that will return later this year from something that is not plague star) Reb: "...but I will take that into consideration... at the time. I will consider it. But it's a bit more thematic." The misunderstanding likely comes from the short part of Pablo forgetting about the built Forma being a reward of Plague Star. And I'm kinda happy no plague star cause it was so boring, same mission over and over with no variation. To me it's one of the worst grinds in the game. Same for players that just want to experiment with said parts. Regardless of if the event will return at all or not without the Forma players can freely ignore it and not have to worry or wonder as to when it'll return just as we can with Thermia Fractures. And without them there won't be remotely as much FOMO regarding the event. While not having it as a source of Forma isn't that bad in the first place as getting a stockpile of them isn't that hard to begin with. I would be in favour of a new event that supported varitation in gameplay, that would try something new, and experiment a little, beyond the usual kill, defend, and escort. Warframe dont have events and you ask to remove? DE removed alerts and put nw trash in our troat? This is/was a very bad move....i can see alot people rage quit.
