Why are warframe slots so less

So I need advice should I sell my Excalibur for my loki cause I don't have enough warframe slots ( which should be free or atleast 5 slots should be given when u start) thats all

Personally, I use Loki more than excalibur, but warframe slots are worth the investment.  You can pick up some warframe slots from Nightwave and warframe slots are the best thing you can spend your starter platinum on.  If you acquire additional platinum from trading or through investing real cash, more warframe (and weapon) slots are still the best thing to get.

If you decide to sell Excalibur to make room for a new warframe, just make sure you have at least levelled him up to 30 first.

Can’t you like get some slots from nightwave? Ez way to get slots or you could just beg for some plat.

You are given free plat at start, you could of used it for slots. Excal is more useful than loki.

If you are just starting out and Excal is currently your only option (with loki cooking in the forge) I would advise getting the warframe slot instead of getting rid of Excal, it's good to have options in case you don't like how Loki plays.  If you're mid-way and have other frame options but not the plat, I'd say farm plat for the slot, but there's no problem dropping Excal and he is easily obtainable now (otherwise drop him into the Hemilith if you have that option).

I use loki more than excalibur, but I still use both fairly regularly (loki does stealth role best most of the time, but excalibur does not necessarily do nuke role best most of the time.)  Definitely get more slots.  You'll want at least enough slots to fill any major roles (stealth, nuke, defense, tank, loot, blitz, plus probably frames with unique roles.)

One slot per Nightwave series. For instance, Intermission 2 lasted six months and gave you one at Rank 27. Glassmaker has been running for four months or so and gave you one at Rank 27.

"Two per year" is not my definition of "easy". It is my definition of "so little it barely makes a difference for a newer player".

20 plats is so easy to get if you know how to get it. Well you are new so obviously have no idea but thats that. On the other hand DE needs to make money on something too so meh.

Warframe Slots arent hard to come by, you can use the game`s trade to get platinum and buy the slots, get some as MR rewards, login Rewards and Nightwave rewards.

I would advise you not to sell any of your Warframes as you will require them again later on once you get to Deimos and unlock the Helminth.
