Euphona Prime -- Banshee's "signature" weapon.

I've noticed her signature weapon doesn't have a flavor, so to speak. 

Was this intentional or just an oversight?

Most signature weapons have some kind of perk when you use them with their respective frame. I suppose with banshee you could argue she already has one innately, but the weapon doesn't carry one itself.

oh.. yeah, Primed weapons don't do that, if they do have a benefit like Ballistica Prime or Pyrana Prime, they work like that for ALL frames. don't take descriptions 100% literally, they'll also tell you Volt is a "powerful alternative to gunplay", and other BS. Signature benefits only seem to appear on non-primed Tenno weapons.

Euphona Prime is signature in name only. Banshee was way too old to be given a signature weapon when DE started it.

That's not to say I disagree with the idea that older frames like Banshee be given signature guns.

Signatures started with Revenant if I remember correctly. This means we won't be seeing proper signature prime weapons until Revenant Prime and/or Tatsu Prime.

Atlas (Prime) with the Tekko Prime gains 6% more status chance much like the normal Tekko. Minor, but surprising that they remember applying its signature buffs to be universal.

Baruuk with the Cobra & Crane were first. Hildryn and the Larkspur in Buried Debt (March 2019) applied the retroactive signature weapon buffs.

Giving signature weapons actual benefits when used with their frame of choice is a new thing DE started doing well after Banshee Prime and the Euphona Prime were added to the game.

Euphona is twice as silent as any other gun when used by Banshee.  But real Banshee pros know that when utmost quiet is needed, nothing beats Euphona with Suppress installed, Silence activated, and volume turned down.

Outside of Octavia's themed guns, most signature weapons feel completely random and arbitrary imo

 

For instance, nothing about the Euphona Prime really fits Banshee's style beside it's name. I mainly use it on my Mesa because it fits her imagery perfectly, if not that then my Akvasto Prime

All of her bonuses were added long after their release.

Same year as Banshee Prime. He was in June of 2017, she was February 2017. 

Banshee was just before signature bonus' is all and really, does it matter? It'd be nice to have one but then they'd have to go and do this for all older weapons that are considered a signature to a frame, wouldn't they? This isn't directed at just you Rez, the above was just to answer your question.

no, Skiajati's thing is you go invisible on finisher kills. you're probably thinking of Paracesis, the Heavy Blade Ballas gives you after a certain point in the story. or you think that because of the Umbra mods, which Skiajati has polarities for as it came with Umbra, and is apparently made of his flesh.
