Dallyoop Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 Hello, As the title suggests, it would be really REALLY nice if we could get some quality of life changes for the tranq rifle, like perhaps something similar to the mining system where the tranq rifle will help direct you to whatever animals are nearby, perhaps using the arrows that are already part of the UI. It doesn't have to be super specific, but it would be nice if it at least let you know if it was showing on your screen. The constant beeping doesn't help at all in detecting the animals other than to let you know they are just... somewhere. It takes FOREVER sometimes to find them, if you can at all since some of the animals are tiny and unless they are moving around like crazy, they are super easy to miss. SpicyDinosaur Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I tested the beeping with someone else and it means that at least one target is in range at max 175 meters. Avichaea are usually in the air, and the other mobs are on the ground. It's not too hard to spot them, and probably would be too easy with a box or arrow. I say this because when I set out to do conservation with friends we end up with a huge amount of tags in about an hour.
