Anyone notice performance issues since yesterday?
I'm having an issue where in certain instances my frame time starts going absolutely crazy, the framerate is still usually sitting around 100-140 but with the frametime going bloody ballistic it causes the experience to become extremely jittery.
EXAMPLE:
My framerate usually sits at an almost perfectly rock-solid framerate (141-144) on the orbiter no matter what I am doing; in the navigation console (one of the areas affected by the framerate issues, like 95-125) if I zoom all the way in on the sun in the centre and wait a few seconds the framerate will stabilise back to 144... BUT if I zoom out, even by a single pipon my mouse wheel the framerate will plummet down to 100, before quickly working its way back up to 144. But if I zoom out enough that planets start popping into view the framerate will not stabilise.
Then, the moment I back out of navigation and stand up in the bridge the framerate locks back to an unflinchingly solid 144, even with my absolute mountain of floofs all on screen simultaneously.
Since yesterday, not only has Warframe been updated, but my Windows 10 updated as well, meaning I cannot be certain exactly what the cause could be.
So my questions are: has anyone had similar issues? Did you manage to fix it? If so how did you do it?
SPECS:
Processor: Intel Core i9-8950HK
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080, 8gb
RAM: 32gb
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 (Let me know if there is anything else you need to know)
