Questions about Galatine build and modding

Punnoo

Question

I'm still trying to figure out how to maximize damage output and recently got Drifting Contact, so I wanted to know what my overall build should be. I replaced Killing Blow with Drifting Contact so now the mods I have are (top left to right):

Tempo Royal: unranked

Pressure Point: maxed

Volcanic Edge: maxed

Molten Impact: rank 2

Melee Prowess: rank 1

North Wind: rank 2

Fever Strike: rank 4

Shocking Touch: rank 2

Drifting Contact: rank 2

(I just shift the elements around to get different damage types for different factions)

The weapon has a catalyst and has 64 mod capacity currently.

I wanted to know if using Organ Shatter, Fury or Relentless Combination are useful and if I should've kept Killing Blow. Also, many say that Reach is a must, so where should I put that in here?

My current Warframes are Rhino and Volt if that information matters (and Nova almost made), with a Steel Charge almost max ranked

Max that first bud, gives more mod capacity

Pressure point, reach, Toxin mod, cold mod(to make viral), heat mod or organ shatter, crit chance mod (Bloodrush or point strike), drifting contact, last slot fit whatever you can

Berserker is the attack speed mod you'll want to get

Besides indeed maxing your Stance for more Capacity,
you might want to focus on less, but higher-ranked Mods.

Like, a single max Rank basic elemental Mod gives +90% damage for 11 Capacity,
while you'd need, say, two Rank 2 Mods to reach that 90% value, except at a Capacity cost of 16.

If Endo is the issue, you can turn duplicate Mods into Endo, plus make sure to run the weekly Ayatan hunt Maroo offers,
use Loot Radar Mods to maybe help find Ayatan Sculptures in regular missions, as well.

Or if it's Credits, Dark Sectors (Infested missions with bonus drops) can help there early on,
e.g. Seimeni on Ceres nets you ~25k Credits per run, plus there's a good chance for some Orokin Cells on top.

FWIW, looking at Galatine's stats, I'd say a non-Crit, Status build would probably be the best goal for now, something like ...

Pressure Point
Fever Strike + Vicious Frost* for Viral
Molten Impact + Volcanic Edge* for Heat
Quickening (Fury otherwise)
Reach
??? (probably out of Capacity at this point)

* = you can get those Mods from Tier 1 Spy missions, well worth farming for (or maybe even buying if you have terrible luck / Spy skills, heh).

Yeah I get that. I was gonna max them out but left it for later due to Endo, but I guess I should've prioritized it more. I was aware of the Ayatan hunt but kept putting it off since I failed my first two attempts xD

So I shouldn't try to get all 4 elements, rather a combo of 2 and then leave the last as is?

And I guess reach is very important as well.

Thank you all for the replies, it was very helpful and I'll try to use all the info you guys provided :D

You should get whatever is most effective :P

Which currently, and especially on Slash-heavy Status-y weapons, happens to usually be Viral + Heat.

You could also try something like pure Toxin / Radiation + Toxin for Corpus, I guess.
