-MACHVISE
I think they should make xata's whisper be a flat damage buff, acting as a different stance of damage and have it's own status chance. Something like "adds X void damage to all attacks", including their abilities. It would be quite fun having their guns procing void-status nonstop and making high fire-rate weapons like Soma more viable And along with that. Void damage could also be a stackable proc, and every proc beyond the first would make enemies take more damage to void damage (similar to the vast untime) Doing so would make xata's whisper a good subsume. Imagine peacemaker, breachsurge or overload procing those void damage in everyone or even saryn as a whole. In general, it would be an alternative for Rhino's Roar, being more effective for high-tick-rate-damage and less effective for burst damage. It may seem op in some scenarios, but in my opinion it's actually fair, since roar would still be the go to buff if you want burst damage, and Xaku require way more grind than Rhino to subsume Any thoughts on that? EDIT (To clarify): Void damage would still make that "mag bubble" but would also make enemies more vulnerable to void damage as you score more proc. Xata's Whisper buff would also affect all warframes abilities (So it could compete with Roar)
(XBOX)CaligulaTwily
I was thinking of making Void "like Viral/Magnetic" but increases status chance and critical chance of incoming damage sources, instead of increasing damage. So a single stack would turn 20% SC/CC into 40%, and ten stacks would be like 80ish% or something. I don't think Void should multiply its own SC in that case. It'd also be harder and harder to build higher Void stacks up because the other elements would get SC multipliers

We don't have many sources of void damage in general, it's only our operator and Xaku's so those changes would mainly affect them both
(XBOX)C11H22O11
Make enemies go crazy and run around in circles banging their heads in the walls, Shooting themselves, make them use their fists instead of weapons and when the status is over they fall down and stay there thinking about life

vanaukas
Void needs some dmg bonus or/and something against arnor, but since xaku has armor stripping idk really
FreeWilliam
Xata's Whisper is really good if you build for it. The individual bubbles are actually pretty optimal for the usual 1-2m of punch through we can easily get without rivens and lots of weapons (Zarr, Azima Turrents) have great synergies with it. Also: BEES! (It's fun to have a build where Peculiar Bloom feels mandatory)

And which warframes would really benefit from a Xata's Whisper properly? I just saw a chromatic blade excalibur using it and it was kinda good, but it's one of the few cases that it really works fine imo

If you drop an Azima turret with XW up you've instantly got a room full of mobs that can't shoot outside of their own bubbles (along with whatever CC procs you have). Just because it doesn't say 'X DR' doesn't mean that it's not supporting the squad. The bubbles also really ramp up the procs so it'll leverage builds that have scaling procs...so high ROF weapons with travel time. I personally do NOT think the Exergis is particularly good with it in practical gameplay and you want bullet hoses. It's not a damage buff, it's not supposed to compete with Roar (Who in the world needs more damage multipliers anyway? The LAST thing I'm helminthing on a frame is pure damage with no fun). It's a quirky utility ability that you can do great things with if you build for it.
