--UMBRA--MauVasconcellos
Sorry if this is the wrong section to comment about weapon mechanics, but it has to do with its animation, so... I've noticed this just today. Tonkor grenades will not always explod, but bounce on enemies and knock them to the ground, scratching their skin (when the should be blown to bits). Been away from the game for 4 years, and I've always farmed Focus with Ivara + Tonkor. But it is only now that I have Ivara PRIME, that I began noticing errors. So the Tonkor slugs won't explode on impact. That is it. I am cloaked while doing so, and enemies are sleeping (extra info). Please try to correct this sometime soon. Thank you. Tonkor grenades will not always explod, but bounce on enemies and knock them to the ground That's an intended safety feature of Tonkor (and certain other AoE weapons, e.g. Acceltra), there's a minimum distance the projectile needs to travel before it enters an "armed" state. That said, whether or not that safety feature is needed / sensible anymore now that self-damage is gone, that's a different matter. I vote no, for the record. --UMBRA--MauVasconcellos
Hello, Zeku. It is kind of weird that Tonkor should have ethis "safety mode" active, while Ogris and Zarr clearly do not, and if you shoot at close range, the damage will blast you along. I wonder why one is "special" and the others aren't? Anyways, I have tested the "safety distance" advice here, and it did work fine. Thank you for explaining.
