knightoflight1414
I have an idea for developers, pvp content now dead, and this idea with MASS Global Warframe PVP content (war of fractions) and maybe capture territory (planets?) should be amazing, like war of fractions in The honor
Dhrekr
Then I encourage you to post it in "Fan Concepts", where our new concepts can be explained. Maybe, with more detail. Also, fun fact: "fraction" in English refers to mathematical fraction (like, one fifth), or to small parts of something (a fraction of a second). The word you are looking for is "factions", without r. The confusion indicates that the writer speaks German, as in German the word "fraction" is generally "Bruch" or "Bruchteil", and the word "faction" is "Fraktion". Xarteros
PvP in warframe sucks because it's made in a hack'n'slash game designed for one player to mince thousands of enemies like a demigod. It sucks because there are horribly broken abilities and weapons that are incredibly meta, which make the game modes feel unwelcoming to players not familiar with the meta. It sucks because DE thinks that every single frame and weapon needs to be added, but the overwhelming number makes it too hard for them to balance and it's just making more work for themselves. It sucks because DE never put enough effort into it to make it fun enough to a sufficient number of players to make it worthwhile for DE to put enough effort into it (a vicious cycle). It sucks because both sides of the community are so toxic to each other rather than just respecting that each side just prefer different aspects of the game. It sucks because it's so easy to not even notice for the average player, and easier still to get bored of waiting in an empty lobby. What we need is better PvP in general: Proper matchmaking lobbies; where you can see what game modes are populated and how many people are in queue Add a highlighted daily mode with double standing gains, shown in the queues Balanced gameplay; removing ALL weapons, and replacing them with a set of existing Tenno weapons from each category to give a good representation. Instead of having to balance HUNDREDS of weapons, they'd only need to balance 30-40 of the existing tenno weapons All weapons would be available to all players in PvP. You would not be required to earn/farm them in PvE first. They are Teshin's loaner weapons for us to train with. Balanced gameplay; removing all warframe abilities and normalise all stats. DE can't properly balance 40+ warframe abilities properly for a game designed for PvE with high enemy numbers. Replace warframe abilities with a select roster of passives/actives that are equipped as mods, or even picked up like 'power ups' during the match. Abilities like Frost Globe, Volt Speed, Rhino Stomp, Loki Switch Teleport etc could all have generic versions added and balanced. Indirect PvP modes; where players compete against an enemy team to achieve a certain goal. This could include K-Drive races, parallel obstacle courses, survival against rapidly scaling waves of AI troops, the revival of Solar Rails etc. All of which would limit the players from directly attacking each other, yet still competing against each other. Better access to PvP content; rather than keeping it locked away to a console on the side, add some nodes to the star chart. Make a PvP version of Index/Rathuum with a node around the respective planets. Add Lunaro Arenas as a room for Dojos, and have clan matches, alliance matches, and public matches within the Featured Dojos. Add bigger duelling rooms to dojos as well, and do the same thing. Make the dojo PvP rooms grant standing in small amounts. Grant Teshin standing from other sources; like making it onto leaderboards for ESO or K-Drive races, as well as for completing missions on the Steel Path. Having a bit of standing here and there will make people look at the rewards and consider farming PvP for faster standing gains. Once PvP becomes better overall, they can add new modes like Railjack battles, Necramech battles etc.
Urlan
Sound like good ideas Xarteros, though I would contend that if the warframe abilities didn't work as normal; that this mode shouldn't have warframes at all but rather some alternate mode of combat like Tenno mode itself or specialized Necramechs for it using Conclave only weapons as well to avoid the disconnect. And please, dont need remove and replace skills in pvp, and add all weapons, its very ugly, i dont like that in phantasy Star online 2, we still should have global goal and ofc we need farm good weapons if you if need your faction to win the global war. From existing games I like the war in RF online between races for resources every Sunday at a certain time, these were great wars, Warframe can get an idea from there

Add bigger duelling rooms to dojos as well, and do the same thing. If conclave were (significantly) more popular, this might be viable but pointless. At the current level of popularity, this is a terrible idea. Putting conclave arenas inside dojos would just make it even harder for players in other clans to find matches. As it is now, all the available matches are in the same place and anyone can join if they manage to catch it as it's happening (you can put a match on private, but that's not the default option). If you move the matches into clan dojos, that'll just make it harder for people to find them: even if you're in that clan, now you need to check two places to see if there's a match instead of one. What Conclave really needs is to have some rewards that are visible outside of the conclave. I'm talking warframe skins/helmets, orbiter decorations, maybe a colour pallette. Something newer players can see on a vet during a PVE fissure run or during a streamer's "sit in the orbiter and chat" session. That would make the newer players want to get those items and therefore start grinding Conclave. Most of them will get the item and stop, but some will like it and stay. What rewards does Conclave offer now? Conclave-exclusive mods? A few subdued skins for non-meta weapons? A Syandana that doesn't work properly unless you play conclave all the time? For the time invested, that's pretty underwhelming even by Warframe standards. Sure, people do play Conclave because they enjoy it. I have only recently started doing some Conclave myself (finally found a match, got hooked after a few rounds of being absolutely destroyed), and I'm finding the game mode really interesting all by itself. But most people need an incentive to try something like this. And they need to be able to find a match without prowling Discord and forums for a week. Rubbertubtub01
DE shouldn't drastically change Conclave in one foul swoop. They should slowly change and improve it over time based on feedback. Feedback like removing shield gating from Conclave, removing the Telos Boltace from Conclave, removing the bugged electric procs from Conclave, fixing beam weapons in Conclave, and so on so forth from every forum post about issues such as these. AFROKI
i feel with the PVP warframe would have a glorious come back in the scene! It is the only real thing that is missing in this marvelous game!! Imagine fighting with your clan against another clan for a territory? Or your dojo is under attack ?? It would be a start of a new era!

Fingers crossed one day the devs listen to their playerbase, their customers. The customer doesn't have to always be right, but you can't ignore them entirely and expect them to be happy with your services, or rather lack thereof.
