Polarization simulacrum

Good afternoon, such a question! There is a task in the "night wave".

Polarized:
Polarize a weapon, companion, or warframe (not in the Simulacrum)
 

At first I thought that a polarization function was added to the simulacrum without spending forms and zeroing the weapon for testing builds. However, with the polarization of the weapon in the simulacrum, the form was spent and the weapon was reset. Will this function be added or am I misunderstanding something?

I think its just a warning, as for some reason it doesnt count towards the task. Likely on how the simulacrum works in not impacting profile stats and stuff.

Haven't tried it. According to this post, it doesn't count as having spent a forma as nothing's real in the simulacrum:

Before forma didn't work in sim, from a month or two it does...I have no idea why, how and where did this change happen.
I formaed 3-4 times there and it worked every time.
So, yes before it was like cheating, now ...it's just not counting to NW.

Polarized the warframe, the rank decreased, the form wasted. At the exit, everything remained as it should be with polarization!

Forma should be simulated also and keep at max rank so we can test without wasting forma on a build that might not work well
