doominator10
This is Corvidius. The clutch of the damned deny absolution. [Google fantasy plague doctor and add a signature flamethrower primary for rough-ish image] Lore: Contracted by the early Orokin predecessors of Grineer to cleanse experimental colonies of cloned beings when they inevitably demonstrated degrading and toxic physical abnormalities... or ideological ones. The mental state of Corvidius steadily declined until, at last, the only way to retain some semblance of sanity was to fully embrace his role as the facilitator of genocide, and beg the poor souls for forgiveness afterwards. WARFRAME IS AT Rank 30: Health: 400 (intentionally slightly higher than average) Shield: 250 (intentionally slightly lower than average) Armor: 100 Energy: 130 (intentionally on the low end) 6 seconds -> 42 second * 12.5% duration Abilities: HIS PASSIVE TIES THE KIT TOGETHER AT THE END [1] Black Wind : A swarm of crows strike the target, dealing 400 Slash damage (Upped Affected by Ability Strength). Targets struck are first Doomed for 3.5 seconds (Not affected by Duration). Targets are staggered for .7 seconds upon the first application of Doomed.25 Energy60m Range (intentionally on the higher end of range, 141m with 235% range)Visually, Corvidius does a more 'evil/accusatory/Pheonix Wright OBJECTION' version of Oberon's 1. Point at general direction of target with 1 hand. Imagine Zed's Death Mark from League (url), but with shadowy crows instead summoned around and collapsed onto target. Audio is reminiscent of the Ravenous Flock Sound Effect (url) from Runeterra, or whatever stock crow sound effect DE can scrounge up. [2] Sacramental Lament : Target an enemy. The enemy is suspended in the air and can't do or take damage. Enemies in the Lament aura around the victim are slowed by 20% (Scales with time out up to an 85% area slow at 40 seconds on the field). Damage that would be taken is instead stored until the duration ends, or ability is recasted. Recast on the same target to end the effect. Up to 3 Sacraments can be on the field at any given time. If Black Wind targets the suspended enemy, then all enemies within the aura are also affected by a copy of the Black Wind that was cast, including other Sacraments, recursively. 50 Energy60m Cast Range20m Aura Radius (70m aura radius at 235% range)40s Duration (5 seconds at 12.5% duration, 82 seconds at 207% duration) (Both extremes are valid and intentional, to be seen in the playstyles/builds section)Visually, this should remind you of Garuda's 2, except Corvidius himself is not moving. Instead he looks at his target, points his bony finger to the sky, and the target is suspended like Garuda's Blood Altar, but instead of impaled through the hip, the target is impaled in a T-pose, reminiscent of being nailed to a cross. Like Vauban's T-pose suspension, but edgier. The aura itself has a visual ring like the Blood Altar, and enemies within the aura are just slowed without additional visual effects. The slow should be enough of a visual on it's own. Press 2 point up. Press 1 point Forward. Everything still living is Doomed. [3] Expeditious Fervor : Corvidius gains 115% Reload Speed, and 60% Holster Speed (Scales with Ability Strength up to a maximum of 301% Reload and 158% Holster speed at 262% Ability Strength) for 3 seconds. Duration scales with the amount of Absolution stacks, up to a maximum of 6 seconds at 99 stacks. Kills with melee weapons, and Reloading spend 5 Absolution stacks.75 Energy DURATION DOES NOT SCALE WITH MODS (HELMINTH SUBSUME ABILITY) Visually, your character's eyes start to glow red while the very edges of the screen get a dark tinge to them as the walls of your tormenting mind close in on you. If you know what action lines are from comics and anime, then imagine those but black, translucent, and a bit spookier going in. Corvidius has long ago realized that he no longer has the stomach for looking his victims in their eyes as he condemns them, so he learned to do his work from a distance. [4] Carrion Call : Corvidius screams a bloody murder. All enemies who in range that hear him are stunned for 2 seconds. ALL enemies on the map who are Doomed have all of their armor stripped from them and shields are cut by half for the 4 seconds. Each Doomed enemy grants Corvidius 1 Absolution stack and they become Reaped. Reaped enemies cannot be Doomed again for 10 seconds. The duration of the armor and shield strip scales with Absolution stacks, up to a maximum of 10 seconds at 99 stacks.100 Energy60m Radius DURATION DOES NOT SCALE WITH MODS Visually, Corvidius does a fast animation and screams. Think of Valkyr screaming, but with a CAWWW instead. All of the enemies in sight show a vague black crow erupting from their soul and quickly flies into Corvidius. Doomed enemies not on screen or in LoS don't show the crow crossing time and space to enter Corvidius, just some dark aura around him that recedes into him shows that a Doomed enemy, somewhere, is now super-doomed reaped. [4-2] Augment: Shared Guilt : Carrion Call no longer immediately grants Corvidius the Absolution stacks. Instead, Absolution fragments are dropped on the ground off of Doomed, then Reaped enemies. They can be picked up by you AND your allies (with Vacuum). Allies can hold up to 66 Absolution Stacks. (Note: you and your allies can keep gaining Absolution even if you're at max stacks. You just gain energy and reset the decay timer. Absolution fragments function like energy orbs and can be picked up for energy even during channels, but Corvidius still needs to apply the Doomed and Reaped effects for allies to take advantage of them) !!!!THE BIG PART OF HIS KIT RIGHT HERE!!!! Passive :When Doomed OR Reaped enemies are killed (by you or your team), absorb an Absolution stack. Absolution gives at least 1 energy on pickup (scales with Ability Strength for a max of 5 energy at 260% Strength +1 energy per 52 strength). Absolution stacks stay until no Doomed enemies are killed for 15 seconds, at which point they begin decaying at a rate of 15 per second (scales with Ability Efficiency to a minimum of 8.6 energy per second at 175% Efficiency) Absolution stacks give 1% ranged damage reduction and .5% melee damage reduction per stack, up to a maximum of 99 stacks. At max stacks, ranged enemies and statuses deal 99% reduced damage, while melee enemy strikes deal 45.5% reduced damage. Doomed enemies cannot be Doomed again before the original wears off. Unlike energy orbs, Absolution stacks are guaranteed upon killing a Doomed or Reaped enemy. Same note as the 4: All of the enemies in sight that die show a vague black crow erupting from their soul and quickly flies into Corvidius. Doomed enemies not on screen or in LoS don't show the crow crossing time and space to enter Corvidius, just some dark aura around him that recedes into him shows that a Doomed enemy, somewhere, is now super-doomed reaped. The black crow's color changes with energy, leaving only a vague outline when it's white. PLAYSTYLE AND BUILDS:MAIN HIGH LEVEL: Build: 12.5% DUR (Transient Fortitude / Fleeting Expertise) 135% EFF (Streamline) 235% RAN (Overextend / Stretch) 262% STR (Blind Rage / Umbral Int / Augur Secrets) Play pattern is to press 2, press 2, press 2 and set up your Laments so that their aura's cover as much as possible while barely overlapping. The Laments should cover a wide enough area such that when you press 1 on a Lament, the entire map / area gets Doomed. Then you press 4. If there are 20 enemies that just got Doomed previously, then you just got about 100 energy back and 20 Absolution stacks. Press 3 and get ~ 4 seconds of 300% reload speed. Use [Tonkor or favored weapon of choice] on enemies who've just had all their armor stripped and shields halved. You got your energy back by now, and your Laments should have faded off by now since their duration is so short. Don't like using single shot launchers with non existent reloads? No problem. Just let your allies kill all the enemies, and you can melee your way through everything, just make sure you're or your allies are constantly killing Doomed and Reaped enemies so that you don't run out of Absolution stacks. Be careful if you're running the augment, as allies will no longer give YOU absolution for their kills automatically, you now need to pick up those stacks. MAIN LOW LEVEL: Build: Same as above Play pattern is 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 and you're constantly killing enemies with your 1 and keeping your stacks up. Maybe take out Transient fortitude for some more duration if you're really trying to be lazier about it and you don't need the strength. AREA SLOW DOWN: Build: 207% DUR (Constitution / Augur Message / Primed Cont) 130% EFF (Streamline) 235% RAN (Overextend / Stretch) 84% STR (Umbral Int) Vitality Niche for cucking the demolishers and demolitionists. Since this is an area slow like Nova 4 and Frost 2+Augment, you can have an extremely long duration 85% slow on them, especially if you line up the Laments along their path properly since the slows do not stack. FUN: Build and Playstyle: Just hit 262 strength, add in Vigorous Swap, and keep swapping between your primary of choice and Kuva Nukor or whatever. SIGNATURE WEAPON: Swail Arc (url): 10 Round High status flamethrower that empties its full clip in a second. Think Ignis but with a MUCH narrower cone, more like the Opticor in width. Firing is meh damage and no crit, but it's pure heat for damage (maybe if gas got buffed then it could be a gas weapon instead?). The kicker here is that is has a 1.8 second reload. When it reloads, it's ammo canister launches forward and does a big crit innate explosive damage. Damage does scale off crit mods and such, and can be comparable damage to the other crit launchers. Harrow 2 or Corvidius 3 + this = tons of damage. Zzz
