augments and my take to how to make them better with the help of helmith

So augment mods for frames are nice but some frames literraly needs them to work or to be ""end game"" valiable.
Some people want a new mod slot for them(like exilus) wich completly aginst since that would mean just more forma needed to make to mod fit(if it can at all) not even talking about frames like nekros who needs 2 augment to be good and having 1 open slot would change very little or completly nothing.

So helmith... you can feed it frames to get abilites that you can put into other frames. What about getting an upgrade segment in the infested lab in the dojo(similar to the pet one) that would allow you to feed him augment mods and make those augment baseline for it's ability?
Even feeding an augment would cost helmith resources and fusing an augment in would take more than fusing in an ability.


You could not do this with changed abilities only the frame base abilities would get this "privilige" so you won't just see every melee focused frame running around with warcry with built in eternal war for infinte attack speed and such for example.
This change would go trought direclty (no loadout selection like with abilites it's just happens) but can be removed for resources.

 

You would have no limit how many abilities you can change this way, you can even fuse all 4 augments in(if there's even a frame who has augments for all it's abilities) and after that if one ability has 2 augments you can now basicly use them together since one is baseline now(walking death orb nyx sucking in enemies sound fun doesn't it?)
Frames like nekros would have 2 open slots this way to make more versitile or fun builds. 
This way you could use augments that are niche or sounds good there's just no room for them, or simply doesn't "worth" a mod slot(rumbled)

 

 

 

 

Side note: I don't want to hear about power creep because at this it's completly broken already  the game would need very big serius changed to make it even remotely close to "balanced" but those changes would drive off players imo.

"I don't want anyone to talk about power creep. The game has already balance problem in its current state and I would really like if they make ALL THE PROBLEMS EVEN WORSE! If the system has a crack, I say, bring a sledgehammer with you."

What can I say. I like your suggestion in theory. But asking DE to make problems worse with the excuse "the problems already exist" isn't going to go very far.

thanks I guess but honestly it's true in this state on higher leveles every weapon that is not a melee needs it's doubled(in cases of some really old things even tripled) to make them at least a "choice"
DPS frames are annoying for casual players and on low levels in general HECK I can't even say how many lith and meso def missions I "failled" because saryn/mirage/equinox etc just killed everything and there were no reactanct to pick up, what's the point then? Or just trying to casually play anywehere with frames and weapon I like and just being unable to kill anything because of said frames or something recently broken weapon(bramma/tombfinger in it's hayday) and it's just no wonder I prefer to play ALONE IN A COOP BASED GAME when coop actually ruins casual and new player experience so at this point it't either f*k it and go in all the way or make half of the player base angry by nerfing every DPS frame ever and make nothing "OP" because everything is OP

I really struggle to follow you. If you are mad at things being broken, why say that you don't care if things get even more broken?

because as I said it would turn players away more if balance was even tryed to be achived so who cares? I don't want warframe to die because it's players(most of them at least) can't handle balance and if anything new drops they just find a way to make something completly broken(maimin strike on launch) 
There's a reason why "no fun allowed" is a meme here becauase when something broken comes out and it gets "nerfed" people are angry so in my eyes it would  be better to just give up because half of the playerbase gonna be angry anyway.

You care. You got so mad about broken balance that you decided to play solo.

Yet you still seem to think that "make balance WORSE" is a more enjoyable situation than "leave things as they are".

I don't really think my suggestion would make things worse tbh I just wrote that line because for every "no fun allowed" guy there's 5 "too much power creep" dudes around but I guess I shouldn't have done that, well whatever at this point.

Why should not we talk about power creep? You know why we needed steel path? Cuz frames became too powerful. I do not want to go back to clearing rooms while taking no damage. Steel path is not challenging, but at least it needs me to be semi awake. From where we currently stand, there should be no additions to the game that add to the player power, cuz that will require adding more difficulty later. Then you will have to buff weapons. Then some frames become useless. It is an endless terrible cycle.

The concept is not good through. Someone suggested before that For the skills that are underperforming, DE rolls the existing augments into the base skill, and create a new augment. DE Rebecca commented on that thread, noting it is a great suggestion, so I am certain it was passed to devs. That does not mean any action will be taken.

However, this should not apply for all skills since augments are not equal. Take my main, Valkyr. If we put the augment for ripline into the base skill, the skill remains useless. If we put it for paralysis I would use the skill. If we put it for Warcry that is power creep. Rolling ripline, paralysis and hysteria (hysterical assault) to the base skill would be nice.
