Game menu post-mission summary

Is this a bug or feature?

Used to be able to just press the Option button from the post-mission summary screen to get the game menu, but then that was taken away.  Then you have to click on your avatar on the top left to open the game menu.  NOW you can't even do that after this Heart of Deimos Interim update 29.2.1.  Why is the game becoming less UI friendly?  You know after every sortie, some one may accidentally starts the game and I can't even change the frame fast enough for the next mission because I can't access the menu.  If this is a feature-less, then I think it was a dumb choice.  The option to switch frame using square button, but you would also start the game.  So how can you change the frame you want if you can't access the game menu or using square button without inconsiderately start the game?  Such a bad choice to remove game menu at post-mission summary... now, you would just have to hope no one starts the game before you can walk from the Nav console to the Arsenal console...
