mirage and her eclipse

this ability has been brought up in the last update to be broken with the new lighting system. i was hoping that you would finally get rid of its dumb environmental lighting mechanic but instead you just decided to keep it for some reason, but fact is this ability is extremely unreliable for more reasons than just the new lighting system.

1-let us control which kind of buff we will get from this ability instead of it relying on unreliable lighting thats around the player. if the button is tapped, make it the offensive buff. if the button is held, make it the defensive buff and make it stay that way until its recasted or runs out of its duration.

2-remove the "more light, more damage and vice versa" mechanic it has. make it give its shown numbers as a buff. if thats not doable, at least make it so that UI actually shows the buff we are getting instead of the maximum possible numbers. this is such a pointless mechanic on this frame that is already barely viable,

theres just no reason to not pick any other buffer frame over mirage even if this ability gave both of its buffs fully during its duration. it does need such pointless mechanics to hold its one good ability back so severely. yes, one good ability. the holograms dont even shoot at where you are aiming and ends up shooting midair most of the time unless you are using aoe weapons.

Mirage would be a much better frame if you can select which buff you are getting. So much better...

I have had issues with the light mechanic for a long time. It does not work in the current iteration of the game. Regularly dark areas do not give the dark buff and light areas do not give the light buff. It seems very random and over designed.

A toggle ability to switch from light to dark would be ideal. One buff active at a time and selectable by the player. With none of this "partial buff based on light that is near impossible to calculate on most tilesets" nonsense.
