As we have stated in our recent update thread, Heart of Deimos: TennoGen: 29.3.1 will include The Great Ensmallening Part 2 - Texture Remaster! Since this is new, we wanted to have a thread dedicated to reporting visual bugs you may encounter. You can help us by reporting any hitches, graphical errors, texture problems, and other things you may notice. BEST PRACTICES Include a video or a screenshot if possible! Visual references can help direct us to issues faster than without them. Steps to recreate the bug, if known. Again, this is to help us locate the issue faster. If you saw the Warframe Crash Handler and got a WAR number (looks like this: WAR-1234567) then add it to your post. Also please be sure to be as descriptive as possible in the Crash Handler's comment box! Some examples of issues you could see are below: Example A: Missing Textures In the screenshot above, the ‘checkerboard’ texture is meant to be a green tarp. Example B: Texture Quality As you can see, the snow in this screenshot is pixelated. This would be a case of bad texture quality. Example C: Texture Artifacts As you can see from the image above, the left image shows additional texture artifacts that would normally be missing from the Excalibur on the right. If you encounter some of these issues, please do the following: Get a screenshot if at all possible. A picture tells a thousand words. Using F6 to capture this screenshot includes valuable metadata that can help us track down the issue. If it is on a map tile, please let us know the tileset and node you are on. If it is a Warframe or Weapon, please make sure to include which one in the text if a screenshot is not available. If an issue occurs only in a certain circumstance (“this only happens when I enter the Helminth room”) make sure you let us know with any reproduction steps if at all possible. Finally, please make sure you report all of your bugs in a civil and constructive manner. There is always a possibility of something getting missed during development, and your help is invaluable to us for tracking these issues down. Zhorkth Posted November 4, 2020 Share Posted November 4, 2020 Dear [D.E] Bear, this problem with reflex in the metal objects an floor its not good, is pixeled and showing artifacts in over metal objects, please fix this, this beta engine graphics is beautifull, but need they work in the metal reflex. My Settings with Beta Engine Graphics. the Settings with Beta Engine Graphics of a friend. the Settings with Beta Engine Graphics of another friend. and the Settings with Beta Engine Graphics of other another friend (is minimal but is notable this issue). Of course this might have been an old issue but whatever. Spoiler While we're here, this is a long standing issue with Umbra operator cosmetics, they weren't like this on release, at some point they became really noisy with their reflections. Pfysicyst Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Umbra's Sundered helmet has never matched the normal Umbra helmet or the body it's meant for.https://imgur.com/a/X7XG1iLExcuse me for not swapping to the Umbra body skin but you can tell just by comparing the helmets. KCToxic Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I have a few images so I'll just drop an album link: https://imgur.com/a/RtsqtNQ In summary: Roky is very chrome again, the arbiters leader has low resolution body textures (most of the syndicate screens have the body textures lower quality than the head), the operator is very glossy on the profile screen, there are weird outlines around reflections on the orbiter's floor, and many metallic surfaces have very chunky looking reflections (especially in the dojo). Also, many floors (especially in dojos and the orbiter) are extremely glossy. I also encountered a bug where Nezha Prime's default helmet reflected polychromed room colors differently than the body but I didn't have enough polychromed rooms in my dojo to show the difference. SECURATYYY Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I've had an issue with flickering lights that I've been unable to resolve. I cannot tell if it is reflections or something else. Anti Aliasing is the only option that affects it in the game settings. I've recorded this with the beta graphics engine, however is is present in the classic as well. All my settings are maxed out, and I've tried toggling them off/on one by one. As I said above, anti-aliasing is the only option that affects it. Coilheart Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Some texture artifacts and things and stuffs that have been a thing for quite some time but now is as good of a time to report them as any, I suppose. 1. Nova atomica's textures are very pixel-y, and the primary color channel's texture itself became way more shiny and yucky. Spoiler 2. Baruuk's default skin's skirt has some bad case of artifacting both in front and in the back: Spoiler 3. Quellor's upper arch looking thing has some artifacts around the seam in the middle: Spoiler 4. Many of the personal quarter stencils, both purchasable and ones earned in game have really badly pixelated details, very obvious on most of the syndicate stencils or the one from Nora. This is Lua, but same also happens to Void doors of this same shape. Now, here's a closer look at the floor: Same pixelated floor texture is also used here: EDIT: This from the Void. Same texture, again: Pixelated wall deco: I could be nitpicking here, but void lockers need some work IMO: Especially that grey wear thing really stings my eyes. Disclaimer: I have no idea if any of this is related to this update or not. Could be that these things simply stand out more now that all textures are sharper overall. Still good to mention, no? NightmareT12 Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I'm having issues to take a pic of this due the angle, but Nezha Prime's helmet emissives, especially inside the "buns" where the danglies are attached, are super duper compressed compared to pre 29.3.1. I've seen a few more but I'll try to take pics tomorrow and make a detailed list because there's a lot of affected textures. EDIT: Adding pic: Notice how squary the emissives inside the "hair buns" are. EDIT 2: Looking closer to the Universe Ring, it's also squarier than before. There's a spot in my inspiration hall, next to a door on a side with only one door that leads to the crimson branch, where it is extremely high exposure and all objects inside it including the player become extremely glossy. The natural vallis orb has low resolution textures. The cloth behind Cress Tal in the syndicate screen is overexposed (also all syndicate leaders are misaligned in the syndicate terminal with some like roky being off screen).
