Nightwave End Date & November Update!

Cool :) I like these little sneak peeks.
- Will we be able to equip Residual Arcanes in our existing Kitguns? If not, what part will determine whether a Residual Arcane can be equipped?
- The Residual Arcane names sound a bit misleading: Malodor sounds like it would be Gas-related, while Viremia sounds Viral-related :P
- Will there be any more "catch-up" Tennogen bundles for Nintendo Switch?

First kitgun arcane for a field and then stack up to 15 times with a warframe arcane locking u into a secondary and flat numbers on those arcanes, and aside from that aside from select few missions those arcanes are gonna be completely useless, i highly suggest u reconsider those arcanes, arcanse being locked into each other to begin with is not the best idea but making it limited range of movement is too much restrictions for buffs that at best can be said "why bother"!

no offence but i don't want to be forced into using kitgun arcanes just so that i can try out warframe ones. i would rather keep using my old warframe arcanes over trying out your new ones since many of them still out-dps the theorem arcanes on warframes.

Will these new arcanes be equippable on fortuna kitguns and vice versa? Or are infested kitguns limited to infested arcanes, and fortuna kitguns to pax arcanes?

whoever designed these arcanes obviously don't have a single clue about how the game function. can we let people of the team who actually knows what are proper and interesting gears to do the design? i thought the point of these new arcanes were to be used by player and finding them interesting. no one is gonna bother with them after 2 to 3 week. AT BEST.

These do nothing by themselves. Why are they not part of the infested kitgun arcanes? The damage on the globe can only be described as a joke. You are releasing these arcanes in a world where arcane energize exists, why do they have to be so garbage?

This is not how you do good synergy.

When is Nightwave Series 3: Glassmaker ending?
This is a big one - our last ‘October’ post detailed out the release of the finale, and now that it’s here, it’s time to talk wrapping things up.

First, since we are launching on Next-Gen, we don’t want players joining the Tenno fold and having a Glassmaker experience that’s only one month long or less.

For this reason, we are running Glassmaker until the end of 2020, and in January 2021 we will be swapping into Intermission #3 (which will bring back old items, and offer Duplicate protection for those who already have items)! At that time in January, we’ll have a post up about our plans for Nightwave based on 3 Series of experience (one of which endured a pandemic)! 

Deimos Arcana + Public Test Weekend Content: New Arcanes, New Bounties, and more. 
Deimos Arcana is well into development. Our next planned deployment is Update 29.5: Deimos Arcana! We will only be Hotfixing in an emergency.

We are releasing new Deimos Arcanes called Residuals and Theorems. These are meant to be synergized Arcanes for Infested Kitguns and Warframes to play off each other. Take a look: 

Residuals (Infested Kitgun Arcanes)

RESIDUAL BOILS 
20% chance to grow cysts on the corpse for 12s that explode for 80 Heat Damage in 10m and applying Heat Damage type to Theorem Arcanes. 

RESIDUAL MALODOR
20% chance to create a frigid mist for 12s, dealing 40 Cold Damage/s and applying Cold Damage to Theorem Arcanes.

RESIDUAL SHOCK
20% chance to electrify the corpse for 12s, dealing 200 Electricity Damage to enemies within 10m and applying Electricity Damage to Theorem Arcanes.

RESIDUAL VIREMIA
20% chance to create a pool of toxic blood for 12s, dealing 40 Toxin Damage/s and applying Toxin Damage to Theorem Arcanes.

Theorems (Warframe Arcanes):

Is there any chance at all you intend to no longer require cephalite resonance and make the glass enemies go away? It's by far the worst mechanic so far for Nightwave. I had no problem with any of the other mechanics but the glassed rift follows you if you try to get away from the thing including into your next mission. It's really old at this point, tbh. Unpleasant at best.

 

I have all dialogue off now so I don't have to hear Nora use the exact same 3 or 4 lines every time a glass rift opens up. 

 

Why can't you just leave the boss on a node, do the same for the wolf of saturn six, and stop with the glass enemies? It's a miserable experience. :(

Well I got my fair share of complaints, but they finally fixed mobile forums (after 2 whole months of that). Good job DE. As for people saying "Oh keep nightwave, ignore those haters" yeah uh 2 things. 1) Glassmaker resonance spawning for the rest of the year, disrupting the flow of the game even tho people who have cleared all 5 episodes don't need it. I suggest having an option to turn it off in solo missions. 2) gee another month and a half of doing nothing. Well at least I can stock up on credits and reactors. Thanks DE, very cool. 

 

For the new arcane hopefully those are just base level stats. If not well uh oh

New Bounties for Deimos. Dont get me wrong, I like those tasks but I havent done any bounties in Fortuna or PoE in I think one year cuz they are boring imo.

- Kuva weapons like Bramma, Hind and Nukor seems not to give mastery points past level 30.
- Deimos challenges are not working since release and the related steam achievements are also not implemented.

I'm tired of seeing new content announcements while several content bugs continue to be ignored. 😞

Nothing. It doesn't necessary have to go in order or they are leaving space if they want to put out a 29.4 before Deimos Arcana.  They wanted to make it so Arcana was a .5 Update because they wanted it to be that.

Rather they just split it so Kitguns were just a separate tab in the profile equipment page since they can be either and then it wouldn't be cluttering up primary or secondaries regardless of which one you picked to build for MR.

I don't really mind this Nightwave going for so long... except for the Umbra Forma. I know Nightwave does not exist just as an Umbra Forma delivery mechanism, it's just that until there is a way to realistically¹ farm them and incorporate them regularly into your builds, any extension of a Nightwave season always feels like a delay of the next Umbra Forma.

¹ No, that time when the BP dropped from rare containers in the Sentient Anomaly does not count, far too low the chance for the container too spawn and the BP to drop.
