Battle Pay: Can You Get Both?

Question

Wiki claims:

 

"Remember that you can recieve battle pay from both sides as long as you have the minimum 5/5 complete for each. (eg. do 10 missions for the Corpus then 5 missions for the Grineer)"

 

Is this true? Can you receive both Battle Payments?

if u get 5 on grineer side, then do corpus on that mission, your 5 becomes a 4. So you only get 1 battle-pay per mission =P

What happens if you do 10 on the grineer side, then 5 corpus? Wouldn't your 10 grineer then become 5, so you would have 5 on both sides?

Nope. If you have 6 missions with grineer and you do a corpus, you'll have 5 points for the grineer reward but still none for the corpus reward. It counts down before adding to the other factions reward.

Are you saying this out of experience or conjecture? This makes perfect sense, just curious if someone's experienced it so that we can say that's definitely the case.

Doing missions for one faction will move one number to its respective side.

 

Therefore, you can only get one of the rewards. It won't make sense that you get both since they're looking for commitment.

I figured that was the case. It really wouldn't make sense. Just got curious after reading it on the wiki.

I have experienced it. Tested it myself and what he said is true (unfortunately ;) ).
