Is skipping iso-vault's final phase the fastest way to farm broken weapon parts?

I'm sick of getting drenched in matrices and relics. Whatever faster method exists, I'll take.

Should I just skip the escort phase for all 3 missions, or should it be done for the third iso-vault?

I had the same question, so I tried it out earlier today.

I did the 3 Isolation vault bounties, but skipped the escort phase in the first two. In the third bounty, I did the escort phase, but did not receive a bonus reward. 

So, if you want a double chance at the damaged necramech weapon parts from the T3 bounty, you need to do all three escort phases.

Also, I found that doing all 3 bounties with all 3 escort phases took about twice as long as doing all 3 bounties and skipping all the escort phases. 

So, since I personally find the escort phase very dull, I would just do the 3 vaults and skip escort phases forever. [This way I also get more enjoyment since I get to fight more necramechs]

 

Note: There is also the question of the resources in the vault, which makes the escort phases better. But, skipping escort phases means more necramechs, so you have a better chance at getting drops from them. 

 

EDIT: Today's hotfix supposedly fixed the bounties not giving bonuses, and other issues like bounties only giving common items. The statements above are outdated.

Generally the fastest way to do it is "Skip the first 2 by not doing optional, then do optional at least vault for the double dip" but uh, there is no fastest way at the moment (as you already know) because we still haven't seen any fixes for Iso Vault bounties or Vault bounties in general! This sucks and I'm kinda tired, I'm really hoping we get some news soon a fix. Gonna be a total bummer if it's gonna take them 2/3 days to fix this

i got/sold a bunch of weapon parts so far. i go in solo with octavia (before it got nerfed/bugged) and did iso vault 1 and 2 without doing the otak phase. then on iso vault 3 i do the whole thing for the bonus roll.

According to the patch notes there was a bug, and weapon parts were just flat-out not dropping for anyone. It should be fixed now
