Leqesai
Catchy topic title, I know. Anyway, Conclave has been dead for a long time. But there are some things that could be done to spark some life back into those old bones. 1: NPC specters/bots One of the primary issues with conclave currently is the lack of players. To fix this issue there should be NPC specters filling the matches so people can play while waiting for slots to get filled. This would also keep matches lively when only 2 people are playing. Instead of spending most of the match chasing one another down you can have actual skirmishes and regular combat. This is something that has been done in many popular competitive shooters over the years and even DE's history working on Unreal Tournament speaks to the importance of bot-play. Bots should be added to all conclave game modes. 2: Global scoring announcements Conclave is currently very isolated. To bring it a bit more into the main game I suggest adding Score tickers to hub areas. Simple score tracking/announcing/recognizing the merits of conclave players. I'm thinking something similar to this: Just a simple display with a username and a couple of conclave stats. Updated regularly (top 10 players per day or something?) 3: Expand on warframe/weapon customization Currently the selection of mods/upgrades for conclave is pretty poor. This system needs expanded/changes pretty dramatically. To fix this would require a pretty extensive overhaul of how the game upgrades work. Remove modding altogether and simply have conclave variant loadouts for weapons. An example would be: Zephyr frame, ability loadout +ability damage -ability cost -health +shield Zephyr frame, primary weapon loadout ++primary weapon damage -health -shield +health regen Soma ballistics loadout +slash damage +status chance -no elemental damage Soma heat loadout -IPS damage +heat damage ++status chance Frame/weapon selection would no longer be locked behind whether or not you have the frame/weapon in your inventory. Conclave matches should be on relatively equal footing. It is simply not realistic to balance all warframes for this mode while also adding in all new weapons. Content for Conclave should be introduced specifically for the mode and restrictions/balances related to each weapon/warframe should be simplified greatly so the focus can be on gameplay. Weapon loadouts should be designed based on end-game functionality rather than the basic weapon, as it is currently. We're supposed to be powerful space ninjas and currently the weapon-scene in conclave feels like we're using paper toys. 4: Random weapon pickups during matches In one game mode allow for random weapon pickups a-la Unreal Tournament. This adds a little bit to the random-complexity of combat and keeps players on their toes. 5: Conclave map improvements Conclave as a competitive sport needs dedicated arenas. Arenas that feel like actual combat arenas. Currently the arenas are all over the place and feel like mish-mashed tiny random tilesets. Lunaro is on the right track with this for one primary reason, it feels like you're in an arena. All of the conclave maps should have a similar feel. This can be done by adding spectator NPCs, building the maps like actual arenas (large single-plane with various amounts of verticality) so it feels like a proper competitive gamemode. Lored
Warframe doesn't need a conclave. Conclave is an example of a failed attempt to introduce PVP into a PVE-focused game. Just let it go.

You stated that you don't think PvP is good in a PvE-focused game, but you forgot to explain why. It's very hard to respond and have a productive discussion if you don't include your reasoning! I mean, I know what you are trying to do and all. But the fact that this post even exists is reasoning enough that this game has failed to bring PVP into it. (PSN)Pragmatic_2015
It's all actually a good idea as a whole. I feel it's worth exploring and actually having the Devs implement it.
