The argument is basically most players have a 100% win rate - exiting a mission to change loadout. So the mission fail screen only works to punish bad host migrations. So it punishes players mainly for bugs in the game. DE you have had all the time in the world to fix these bugs and it looks like it is not going to happen. You are aware that players can abused it in the past, eg didn't get the drop I wanted from a boss quit and restart instead of finishing the mission.
