Optimized Flip Model....isn't.

Maybe it's just me, but this feature seems to hinder modern cards more than help them. I ran it on last night with a Radeon RX 5500 XT with 4 GB of VRAM and on Tuesday night, it was running incredibly smoothly. Wednesday night, not so much. Went through driver uninstalls, rollbacks, reinstalls, tinkering in Windows Defender (solved some other issues I was having btw), and verifying download cache, but it wasn't until today that I realized I had enabled this particular setting. I can't recall if I had it enabled on the NVIDIA GTX 960 I had in my machine, but it dropped my FPS by around 30 - 60 with it enabled.

Other irregularities I noticed were black squares appearing in the center of the screen briefly and only on certain tilesets. The one I noticed it most on during my troubleshooting was on the Earth forest set. I also noticed screen flickering around the edges of my monitor that only appeared when Warframe was running. It's entirely possible I'm missing the point of this feature entirely, but if it is for older hardware and bare minimum specs, I would recommend appending to the description that this is what it is intended for. Below is a screenshot of my system specs (from the Radeon Software. I can pull more detailed specs if it's needed).

your described issues sounds like Graphic errors, which sounds like like the WIP state of DirectX 12 & the new Graphics display model in Warframe more than anything else.

if you would like some further details about what the newer Buffer Flip model is about and what it does, see also.

Yeah. I noticed that when I switched back to DX11. Thanks for the links and the feedback! I'll poke at them and do some reading. :)
