(PSN)Kakurine2
So i just kinda been using them without realizing how i got them. Now I am out. A google search says capturing hydrolyst. Is that it? I never recall capturing the ediolons just killing them? Can i just kill a bunch of them and get m,y transmuters?
KnossosTNC
Nope, killing Hydrolysts won't drop them. Only captures.

Other players look after the lures, you shoot. Still the same drops.

"Capture" is when you have the lures attach to it while it dies. "Blowing off the limbs and killing the thing" is still part of a "capture". So probably you have been capturing them this whole time and you have just failed to realize it.
(PSN)camwyn-xenos
You can only get to George and harry by capturing terry without the capture reward radiant shard you cannot spawn the others, killing doesn't reward the radiantshards for spawn. (PSN)Kakurine2
huh guess i have been capturing this whole time then. Guess ill have to pug kills to rebuild my transmuters. Kinda whish there was a better way to farm them.
(PSN)Lollybomb
Also killing and capturing use the same animations, or at least so similar that it doesn't matter. When you kill them, they sink down into the ground. When you capture them, they also sink down into the ground. Honestly, we're pretty bad at capturing the eidolons. We've never captured even a single one when you really think about it.
