Affinity Orbs Not Counting Up

I keep levelling up my rhino after forma'd and the affinity for that does not register on my experience bar nor do affinity orbs collected in combat.  ive tested this over and over and over again.  it just stays at needing 1200 for next rank.

keep in mind that once you've leveled an item (using affinity) to 30 you won't get additional mastery points for re-leveling it. (this includes forma'ed items and repeats)

 

i.e. if your rhino is leveling (via affinity) but you're not getting mastery for it. then it's Working As Intended.

If your rhino isn't leveling at all. (stuck at "unranked") or some other level. then there is a problem.

I think the biggest issue right now is that affinity orbs aren't working either.  I kind of expected that the frame shouldn't count up, but thought id mention it just in case it should.

Like xethier said, you used a forma, meaning you already received the mastery points for your rhino.  Affinity will not give you mastery if you are re-leveling after using a forma.  Is this what you're talking about?

Affinity is not mastery, the orbs give extra xp for your weapons and frame.

You only get mastery for each level of your frame and weapon.

I was under the impression affinity went toward mastery as well.  Learn something new every day, lol
