Can you Forma an Exilus slot you haven't unlocked yet?

So I got Wukong Prime out of the oven recently and realized I love him. Today I got an affinity booster on login and I have a forma almost done baking. Since I know what I want in his exilus slot can I put the polarity I want on it and level him back up now, then buy the adapter to unlock the slot in a week or two? Just hoping to get some use out of the login booster.

Sadly,  you cannot.

No you must unlock it first, then forma the slot.
