Never mind

I just had to adjust my Macros

looks like the Glaive Update changed the Timings for Throw vs Charged Throw

a Charged Throw now takes about 750ms instead of 350ms

Orvius only Puppets on Non-Charged throws.

(which honestly kinda sucks, I miss being able to Puppet + Charged Throw for the super damage bonus....)

i doubt, as charge throw gain only 2% crit chance and 0.2 crit multiplier compared to regular throw.
Orvius explosion dammage have been doubled anyway so no big deal.

Any clue how to fix this on xbox?

same as other platforms, to perform a regular throw just hold your melee button for about half a second. if you don't throw your Orvius you didn't hold it at all, if you throw it and it doesn't lift the target then you held it for too long

note : its harder if you use killing blow and its REALLY hard if you use killing blow + amalgam organ shatter.

Like I said...

Macros

setup a script so that if you're holding down Melee, it forces a release at around 300-400ms

that will be long enough to Quick Throw, but not so long that it turns into a Charged Throw; thus the Orvius Special will activate

Honestly I wish DE would just change the activation requirement, so that Orvious does the Special attack on Charged Throw (the long timing) instead of Quick Throw. It would make more sense, and be more consistent with other Glaives where the Charged Throw is the more rewarding powerful attack.
