Loid Health now way too low!

I am having the problem that since the devs reduced Loids health, he ends up getting destroyed very quickly, even though I am killing the enemies that are attacking him.  This makes doing the isolation vault missions pointless really!  

Please look into this and increase Loids health or fix whatever is causing him to now get destroyed so quickly  without even having the chance to repair him!

I'm on console too and I've never had problems with Loid dying. usually the only time he ends up in any real danger is when travelling through a narrow tunnel and several large Infested - Saxums, usually - block his path. they do a lot of damage to him as well, but I always escort him with Bonewidow and cut down any infested near us. it's usually if there's no players around that Loid dies, but if the squad is actually trying to protect him, he's fine even in the Tunnels. 

also, you can restore Loid's health by shooting him with your Operator Amp. it's a bit finnicky but empty a full amp into him and he should regen health.

Yes I am well aware of how to repair him and what to do.  I should have prefaced this with the fact that I am MR 30 and well versed in Isolation Vaults, having done hundreds of them solo.  Yet I have had a few instances where Loid gets blown up right away...so this may be a bug. Perhaps I should move this to the Bug report Thread.

I haven't played vaults in quite some time , unless there have been some stealth nerfs in orphix venom to his survivability it is usually not a major problem to keep him alive. But I also cannot just ignore him , I need to actively kill the enemies and not mine nodes or try and get other things in the process.

Yes I was right on him defending him...also had a wisp spectre with me....and all of a sudden he was killed, mission over. I believe it was a bug and I will report it.

I think I know where the problem is, the NPC aren't hp scaled to the lvl of isolation vault just like how specter don't get scaled to same measure as the enemy in OM the fact that OM cannot be scaled for it has a program scaled all enemies but does not scaled specters which I complain about this a lot for this is being register to NPC if they are part the mission but if you repeat the mission couple of time the NPC ally don't get scaled the right amount.  Take for example, you took a bounty mission lvl 20 then finish it as for you taking on lvl 50 as this is has some sort rescue or protect for this is where DE make a huge problem like that one time event about the excavator room does not get scaled to the enemies lvl.  This I was almost going 24 hours B on this paper for I shouldn't let it go complain about that either and the same with the scaling lvl on OM.

The fact they didn't scaled, it is either

  1.  players are too powerful and can deal with it no problem
  2.  got too lazy that part
  3.  forgot to scale
  4.  purposely because they know players will abuse specters (which they didn't yet)
  5.  they didn't want install it

something like that but then again these are DE, they aren't willing to do everything and to be instance done with.

Well from what I understand you keep the rewards like with every bounty but the Vault can't be opened.

Tho I guess that's still pretty bad. Because I think the Nechramechs have to be dealt with again and whatnot.

The only thing that can piss me of is when the canister for the AssDoor glitches out and either just breaks or disappears completely. If it chooses to disappear you can't make another one. And have to restart completely.

Err.... no. You just dont get the Bonus AKA The 2nd Reward.

Its as if you decided to get the tentacle back to the surface instead of trying to open the door.

Yeah that's what I meant. You get the rewards like with every bounty but miss out on the other stuff. So you have to do it again to get the other stuff.

Whether you have to fight mechs again I can't remember tho. Probably not.

Since I figured that all 3 motes works on Loid, I don't imagine doing the vault without Wisp. Heal is not very significant but helps a lot under fire, shock stuns and haste makes him fly much faster. You just need to keep Rexes and Saxums out of the way so Loid won't be blocked. Don't activate Sarlacc pit whenever you can, the fireballs explode into gas clouds can do significant damage on the way.
