You mean the grind for railjack that offered pretty much nothing new gameplay/tileset/enemy-wise can be considered a "new" new war quest. It is still the intended final idea of it all. NMS hyped all the things as day 1 content for the game, all the way up to the very last few days prior to the release of the game. Which we all know that they knew wasnt true, yet they kept lying for the sake of hype and sales. Uhm? Have you not played Railjack, Scarlet Spear or Orphix Venom? All those are part of the New War. And this is if we ignore Jupiter getting reworked and adding more Sentient related lore.
