2020 Statistic Reblance Idea

As we all know the most nukish frames and weapons are the most used from the 2020 Statistics released after Devstream. One idea I have for the frames would be the same as how you guys have made Hildryn, drain by each enemy or alley effected by ability. As Wukong twin, Mesa's Peacemaker, Saryn Spores, Excals Exalted, Khora's whip, Volts 4th and many others abilities applies damage each enemy hit draines the energy cost to keep it up. This alone would help off set the balance of the room clearing nuking frames. Instead of spamming continuously, player will have to used these abilities strategically.

Also why does this drain effect Hildryn in this manner and no other frame?

As for weapons, as for weapons seems like AOE needs to be addressed again.

TIL wuclone and excal are considered nukes. That aside the underlying issue is simplistic mission design, not any single frame, weapon or ability. More complex mission will play to strengths that arent just kill as many trash enemies as possible.

Hildryn's drain-per-enemy-effected mechanic is literally half the reason her 4 is dumpster their, with the rest being the abysmal maneuverability and the asinine weapon restrictions. How in the void did you figure that taking the worst mechanic from one of the more mediocre frames would in any way help this game- to say nothing about putting Wukong and Excal on the same level as Saryn... which is just a hilarious notion.

If you dont know how strong Excals 4th is you need to replay him. His blade can kill en entire hallway with a few slices its. You can literally just random spam in a circle and anything that comes withing the blades will die.

Just place a bramma or nukor on your Wukong and room nuked with in a few seconds as you just stand there waiting for the enemies to die. And you know 90% of Wukong I see in pubs run this combo with large AOE primary and nukor all the time.

Hope you can see this.

Her 4th doesn't replenish her 3 at the same rate. lol If it did once, seems that DE has already fixed that exploit. I think you just like nuking too much to allow any balance to nuking frames which are the most used frames statistically. Seems like nukers are asking to buff non-nuking frames as the only option for some odd reason. lol

Its funny even nuke meta's didn't consider Khora whips as nuking lol

"Nuke" in the context of Warframe just amounts to killing an entire room quickly. If you want to talk about hallway clearing, literally anything can do that, even guns that don't have aoe.

By your definition, every single Warframe with a damaging ability that scales well enough, or high enough base damage, that hits multiple targets is a "Nuker".

There's also the issue of performance differences based on level or faction. Volt as a "nuker" only functions against enemies with low enough hp/armor, he completely stops functioning as one after a point. Mesa is pretty worthless at dealing with high level enemies with armor compared to just using weapons. The issue is, a majority of the game consists of squishy enemies. The only time this changes for most people is when there's an event like SS where your typical player ends up fighting enemies that are significantly more durable. While people used Mesa to kill Sentients during SS, she was inefficient at doing so, various guns or gunblades would kill them quickly, even at their peak.

Also, people will go for ease of use. This is why Ignis Wraith stays popular, it doesn't even have that great of an aoe or range, but hey, it's easy and reliable and for most of the game it 1 shots enemies.
