What happened to Oxium farm Io on Jupiter. Its now Grineer occupied as a basic mission.

I was using Io on Jupiter as an Oxium farm, shooting down Oxium Ospreys.  Now its says Grineer occupied. No Oxium Ospreys. And its the base mission, not a  Kuva lich node, a fissure node, or a nightmare node (though being without an Oxium farm may be a nightmware  all its own),  This is 'occupied' stuff something that just happens for a while and then reverts back later? Suggestions for farming Oxium now?

It is possible there was an Invasion mission on that node earlier. Invasions are like Crossfire missions, but you can choose to help one faction, and helping that same faction three times gets you a reward when the Invasion is completed, no matter which faction wins. The winning faction is determined by how many players in the world helped each side.

If the invading faction wins, it takes over the normal version of the node for 24 hours after the Invasion ends. That might be what you are experiencing. The only solution is to wait for the node to return to normal.

Thank you NeoRetro10K, I was unaware of that game mechanic.  Sort of gives one in incentive to choose sides  in that particular node.

It might be a Lich node. If that is the case, it will never revert back until you go on this long journey to kill your Lich.

That would only apply if you specifically select the Kuva Lich mission. Otherwise, the normal mission would still be Corpus. 

Sounds like it was an invasion.
