I've tried it a few times, including watching tutorials for it but it never really seems to work out. Are there any melees or warframes that make this test easier?

I made this to help players like you. You don't need any special frame or weapons, get that out of your head, learning to cheese will not make you a good player in the tests to come. For this I used a loud stompy Rhino frame to show that stealth frames don't matter and I nerfed my melee to put me on par with newbie gear. The enemies follow a SCRIPTED PATHING, this will ALWAYS WORK. The only piece of gear you need is a enemy radar mod, ie Enemy Radar, Enemy sense, Vigilante Pursuit etc pick one.

That's an older video. The enemy alertness system has changed since then. They more easily notice you, but take longer to do so. Unfortunately, in this test, the longer time to go to alert doesn't help you much unless you are really fast.

A few options for anyone having trouble:

  1. Wisp. Bunny hop to the enemies and then kill them. Make sure you use a weapon that can one-shot without using a finisher, unless you are really good at timing the finisher prompt.
  2. Skiajati, free reward from The Sacrifice quest. Exact opposite of the previous technique. For this one, sneak up to the first enemy you can, then finisher them. You now have a few seconds of invisibility to get to the next enemy. Rinse and Repeat until you are done.
  3. Sarpa. With careful aim, tap-firing the Sarpa can kill all of the enemies at long range.
  4. Any glaive-type melee. Much like the Sarpa, but much shorter range. Be sure to find good positions to attack from.

Check the date on it mate, I made that video AFTER the changes to how alert the Grineer are(which was when Gauss was added) so yes it will still work. The 2nd vid having fun with parkour is likely before the update but the actual Tutorial I posted at the top, WORKS.
