Can't use Shawzin Prime?

Got the Octavia Prime Accessories pack. I can place the shawzin prime in the orbiter, but can't change the shawzin being used to it? I don't see it in my inventory.

I don't have Octavia Prime yet, and I couldn't see it even when I'm using regular Octavia. This better not be exclusive to just Octavia Prime, seems like a rather arbitrary and misleading (regarding the purchase and expectations) limit if it is.

To clarify: I can use the shawzin prime if I do not place it in my orbiter. However, I cannot use it when I place it. It would seem logical that way but my other shawzins don't behave this way. I assumed that this new shawzin would follow the previous ones' behavior - place-able in orbiter and useable as an actual instrument. If this is not a bug, please change it. It's $50, at least let us use it for deco and for an instrument.

Ok I fixed it (maybe). I had placed it and removed it from orbiter a bunch of times and now I can access it.

Yea this ain't just exclusive to Octavia prime either. Was playing it with Ivara prime and ran into this bug
