Idk what world you live in, but game companies do exist to please the player... That is the point of a game.

Especially in a live-service game where you can spend money for things like boosters or cosmetics. If players quit because of burnout, what with the game being too easy, that's potential income lost.

Nope.

The point of the game is to make money, period.

If we get lucky, then such an endeavor is fun for at least enough players to make the game a profit.

And while game companies exist to please some number of players, they do not, in fact, exist to please all of the players all of the time, especially those determined to find fault, etc.

IMO, you make the very false assumption that a game company can try to please 'everyone'. They create a game tat will appeal to whomever it does, even if the people it appeals to changes over time.

The game is a horde shooter, the challenge is being able to defeat the horde before it overwhelms you. Where's the challenge when you can press one button to make that horde disappear instantly?

The challenge once you have beaten the game is to find your own fun.

That seem to be too challenging for a number of players that post here, they cannot come to grips with the fact their fun in in their hands.

This idea of DE being responsible for the happiness of individual players is just silly.

They make a game, play it or not, like it or not, it's not DEs responsibility to make you as an individual player, happy.

You choose to play a game that is no longer the type of entertainment you desire, that's not on DE.

That's implying everyone having this problem have beaten the game. Not everyone who grows bored of the game being too easy is because they've done everything it has to offer. When you've wiped out the same horde with the same gun/ability, you've more or less have seen it all. People catch onto that and they'll quit. You do not have to beat the game to reach that point.

The easier the game becomes, the sooner players will reach this realization.

So what?

Once a game, which is just an entertainment vehicle, is no longer fun, in the first 5 minutes or 5 years, then it's no longer fun.

No game can please everyone.

If players don't like what the game has to offer, that's just life, there is no onus on DE to please all players, any more than you as a player have to buy every game made.

It's a GaaS game, players come and go, some stay longer than others, and water is wet.

No, actually not. Water makes other things wet but water by itself isn't wet. It's the same with a country. A land isn't a country, but if you place "some" humans on it, does the land become a country. 🤓🤓🤓

Nice one! 🤣

I'll have to remember to say 'and water makes things wet'!

I'm getting really tired of hearing this catchphrase so if you think it's so easy here are some quick steps for you to follow:

1.  Sell off your Warframes / weapons that have forma in them and replace them with zero forma builds.

Still to easy?

2. Take off all your mods.

Lets face it, no one complains that acquiring Grendal is 'to easy' do they.

Besides, if you think killing enemies needs to be the hard part, you're probably not playing Warframe, you're just spending Plat. The actual hard part as you progress through the game is getting anything of actual value to drop. For example:

After grinding out 67 Axi A11 Relics, 6700 void traces (averaging 10 per mission) to make them all Radiant, grinding them all open to finally get 1 neuroptics BP!?!?!

Yeah, tell me again how 'easy kills' is the problem.

Are you mad because it's not easy for you?

Difficulty is relative. The most dangerous thing in the game is the randoms.

checked how other (solo games) increase the difficulty and that would be questionable if this community would like it in this game

less HP pickups in the level ......game could do this if after a set period of time you cant self heal (all auras, pads, frame abilitys, archanes, companion heal, opperator schools ect.) all you would have is sheilds and sheild gateing as every 1 hp loss is closer to game over

less armor pickups......in this game it could be that corrosive procs on the player actuly do something meaningful and not just when the time is up your armor is back no but rig it like what we did to the enimy before the status rework so if you get too many corrosive procs you have no armor and the only way to get it back is ending the mission and starting again

faster enimy projectiles and improved aim ......... coz some of these older games it was no longer about skill and more about remembering enimy spawns and patrol routes so shoot em first .........in this game it would be incresess enimy detection range acuarcy and fire range so if you are doing closet defence in a survival the enimys with grenades throw them through the door and the rest shoot through the door instead of funneling through to the slaughter also all around more shootyness as hey they got unlimited ammo and incress the grenade pops

melee enimys blocking melee hits......... in this game it would be if an enimy happens to be in block stance and facing the attacker when hit by a melee attck or quick melee attack the attaker is staggered and loses their built up combo count and the enimy that blocked the attack takes no damage from the attack (this could be furthered on by some enimys like the ones with sheilds moving towards you in block stance like riot troopers making wide AOE melee weapons tough to use unless you love to self stagger)
