Working With Kohm Nerfs


Question

So, a while ago the Kohm got nerfed pretty hard

whereby as the pellet count ramps up, the status chance gets divided by the number of additional pellets

thus the old build of: 100% SC means Every Single Pellet procs, ramping up to x12 procs per shot. No longer works.

Now the Procs per second basically stays at a constant rate, doesn't increase with ramp up.

 

Question then is. What about Crit Chance? and Hunter Munitions?

assuming the ramp-up doesn't affect Crit Chance per pellet; would HM also be unaffected?

Meaning there might be some viability in having massive HM bleed procs x12 at full ramp up?

That is how Kohm has always worked (or at least, for many years, not sure 'bout the days of Damage 1.0 etc).

And 100% Status Chance becoming 100% per pellet was a bug in the Status formula that was allowed to survive that long because ... dunno lol.

The shown Crit Chance is for each pellet infividually, there's no division, never has been (again, AFAIK).

For the OP: AFAIK Status chance per pellet doesn't increase with multishot, but as you increase multishot with ramp-up you naturally get more status procs, it's just not a proc for every single pellet like it was before, but the result is still very good if you build for status.
