Stop The Admin Pass Required Now.

I don't understand the need for a password though, I mean I've never had this kind of situation. You're obviously on the computer and internet right now (whenever that was posted) so why the need for a password?

It's not his computer, so he doesn't have administrator rights like the rest of us. That means that whenever he tries to modify core files, a prompt will come up with the administrator password. For those of us with admin rights, it's just a simple "confirm/deny" popup. The recent event update added a UAC check (the thing I just described) for a core component, and it hasn't been removed yet for whatever reason.

This. They seriously need to remove it, place some trust in us.

Well, if my grade ever turn out horrible, which they don't, they would use the password to block my sister or I out.

Convince them that you are maturing, and that being an administrator or getting this password will help you learn responsibility (and promise you wont look at porn and stuff)

Show them you are responsible by getting boss grades in school and do chores instantly. "Suck their $&*^s" basically. Hopefully you will get your own admin account and wont need a password, but the password is good too.

You'll never have to even THINK of a password ever again with an admin account.

As for where I'm coming from with this; when I was 14 I've always owned my own computer (albeit it was S#&$ and couldn't even play maplestory properly) and because I didn't suck $&*^ I didn't get anything better.

I still played my fair share of runescape though.

Good times

I can relate. I had my computer passworded for well over 6 or 7 years and every time I wanted to use it I was required to ask for the password. Hope your parents aren't like mine though...they refused to remove the password after I turned 18. It wasn't until the pile of crap burned out (apparently it had defective parts) that I finally didn't have a password...new computer. I immediately put my own password on it. lol

However, mine was only passworded for startup and returning from sleep mode. Maybe you could ask for that instead?

Well, it's not like DE is trying to prevent you from playing, it's probably a simple oversight that they haven't gotten around to fixing.

Note that as all kids don't drive reckless and some have decency, same goes for that matter too.

True enough, there are still good parents ;) I just like poking fun.  The world is never as black or white as people would like to believe. (sometimes, I see yellow things o__o)

I am seriously trying not to just explode in profanity, thus meaning trying to be polite as I can.

That's good, you should maybe tone it down a bit more though if you want to be taken seriously. There's nothing wrong with the content of your post but the delivery is key, really.

Stop have my updates for war frame require the admin password.

Valid point. Just saying requiring admin info makes patching the game unplayable for you should be reason enough for DE to consider reversing it, you're a paying customer and all. You could've ended your post there.

I don't have password, as my parents do as they decided to change in on my for no reason literately.

Note, I am a 14 year old whom is in high school as a sop&*$$re, not some 10 year old kid on a unreasonable rant.

Most people can't take a 14 year old seriously, I know when I was 12 I was living a much more adult life than a lot of the people I go to college with (I had a weird childhood), so I understand where you're coming from, but just as a tip, don't mention your age if you want to establish your credibility. There is always someone older than you who will think you're a little kid, even if you're 30 or 40 or 50. It might seem dumb but it's true. In general, you don't need to include your personal story or background when making an otherwise perfectly valid point.  This is just some friendly advice.

That'd be ten times worse...

In some cases I suppose, but I did have free reign with the computer once it was signed in...for the most part...sort of. But I figured out how to erradicate all the other spying/parental restrictive programs and filters, even hacked my dad's computer while he was gone to unblock all the websites I wanted while I had to deal with the dumbass internet filter.

Er...just do what that one guy said and have Warframe white listed.

Copied right from the EULA:

BY ENTERING INTO THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE (EVEN IF YOU’RE ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF AN AUTHORIZED USER WHO IS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE) AND HAVE THE LEGAL CAPACITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT IN THE JURISDICTION WHERE YOU RESIDE.

So basically your parents can do whatever they want to do since they are the ones that legally agreed with the license... unless you installed Warframe on your own (since no one really reads the EULA).

You could make a simple HTML file and make it look like a legit windows update website where they ask you for your PC's password. Open the file on any browser. Ask your parents to enter the password, then just source the password from there. That's how I did it when I wanted to play san andreas.

Note to all, just sent [DE]Rebecca a message about the subject.

As the Devs care for the customers, I am sure she will take care of the matter.

Also, support is prob your best bet although the instructions I gave you earlier should take care of it (unless WF is weird and references/stores crap in some other folder)
