Why didn't we see the problem BEFORE the update

The fundamental issue of this update is, it does absolutely nothing to make people want to play Railjack. It didn't change anything major enough to make people who didn't want to RJ to change their mind. It did more than enough though to spite those of us who already played RJ.

So this is how it will go. For the next year, people will still *@##$ and cry about railjack. Some of this *@##$ing will be legit, but it will mostly come from players who still ignore the mode, and so the "feedback" will again be largely skewed by outlandish fantasies like the "content island" one.

Meanwhile, DE will probably roll out another update in several months, fixing all the S#&$ that shouldn't have been shipped to begin with, and then retreat from RJ while absorbing the boiling piss from community. Then, after a year or two, that boiling piss will turn into announcement of "Infested railjack" or something, which, once again, will completely miss the point, and introduce bunch of garbage literally nobody was asking for.

And then the cycle will repeat, until RJ finally dies as a game mode, and/or turns into what archwing is. Literal nothing with taxi sign on top (see, I already used the new buzzword).

Arent these what railjack was supposed to be? Neither a content island nor a taxi to ground missions? They shouldve made these missions instead of forcing you into random ground missions

As long as it's separate from the regular Warframe, there will be morons crying about "content islands". The thing is, RJ is better off separated. It's a different gamemode, enjoyable for some and unenjoyable for others. The only way to actually "fix" the "problem" of content isles is to enforce the use of RJ, delete orbiter, and turn the whole starmap into what corpus RJ is now. Now imagine how fast this will kill the game.

Im critising DE for not making the features in the demo, it was the right direction that seamlessly integrates warframe and railjack
