LocasMaxis Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 An idea I had for interesting challenge improvement to standard play, but with added benifiets. Hence Dragon Trial mods. These are four Aura mods that could either be found in vaults like thier corrupted brothers, but maybe requiring multiple keys, also adding more danger after picking them up by either adding a key effect to everyone or buffing all enemies on the map or they could be aquired some other way. The mods: Painful experience: Cost: ^2-^7 Polarity: V Picture: Over the sholder shot of Thark Rhino getting punched by ancient Effect: Increases affinity gained from enemy kills and enemy damage by 5/10/15/20/25/30% Quick cash: Cost: ^2-^7 Polarity: -- Picture: TBD Effect: Increases amount of credit dropped by 4/8/12/16/20/24% and enemy speed 5/10/15/20/25/30% Treasured burden: Cost: ^2-^7 Polarity:D Picture: Shield lancer bashing, possibly a Lato prime or Bronco prime against his sheild. Effect: Increases mod drop chance by 4/8/12/16/20/24% and enemy health by 3/6/9/12/15/18% Natural shielding: Cost ^2-^7 Polarity:D Picture: Prod crewman prokovingly jesturing toward the camera. Effect: Increases amount of reasourses dropped b 4/8/12/16/20/24% and gives enemies sheilding equal to 3/6/9/12/15/18% of thier health. The percentages are a bit rough but around about the range I'm going for and may be changed later apon review.
CubedOobleck Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I don't think corrupted auras are a good idea unless the negative effect only goes to the player that has it equipped, and it would need to be a lot of negative to compensate that the positive affects all players
xethier Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 i actually like this concept. don't know about those numbers, but the idea itself is sound.
KijaJouteh Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Numbers are a bit high, but ti would be good. I mean, people would be ticked that enemies had more stats, though.
