Kitguns Have Broken Profile Stats

Primary and Secondary Kitguns appear to share the same profile stats. The XP, kills, assists, etc... stats are identical for both. However, the usage stats are not identical, but still do appear to be double dipping in some way. 

For example:

I really like my secondary Rattleguts Kitgun. I have made ~ 70,000 kills with it. According to the usage stats on my profile, it is my most used secondary weapon. This makes sense.

I really dislike my primary Rattleguts Kitgun. I have made a bare minimum of kills with it in order to get the mastery points. According to the stats on my profile, I have made ~ 70,000 kills with it, and it is my most used primary weapon. This does not make sense.
