Ahh well, maybe we'll have better luck next time, or is it possible that there is still a chance to win.

unless all nodes going to go all at once, dosent seem like it, corpus corrently taking a node due to catalyse, but grineers taking another and defending effectively.

so if it will change, its cause of potatoes, nothing else though.

Who cares?

This Event was rigged from the start, became boring in the middle and got hacked in the end.

There will be no deserving winner because the Event was never fair in the first place, even the end reward distribution is totally illogic and stupid. All the Event does now is give some battle-pay and a lot of good (and sad) laughs about how it went so far.

From all the Events so far.. this is both.. the most interesting and screwed up piece of time-waste DE ever came up with.

Kudos

it was only rigged for the first... 5-6 nodes so grineers will have about half of mars to be on even terms, after those node rewards started to even out and are still pretty fair on both sides, corpus can make a comeback IF, they feel like giving out more catalysts.

But the leader board game was not set up for the war to "even out" later. But eh, my clan is dead so I went 50/50

You got a bad case of the hurting bottoms and the rustled jimmies.

You still don't get it do you? (over 6000 post and no clue at all... sad)

It's not just "oh grineer got a catalyst for the first mission"

.. it is the whole discouragement of switching allegiance, having whole clans stuck with one faction for leaderboards, uneven difficulty for fighting the factions (you are still way faster vs. Corpus than vs. Grineer.. even with novas so you can run more missions faster), discouraging event end rewards (you get the winners side weapons and noone cares if you picked corpus for the stuff which made some Corpus supporters just run 5 missions and stop because they don't care anymore), hacking attempts that screwed up the whole node balance and fighting over them and on and on.

The catalyst was just the beginning but all the piled up S#&$ that happened and alot of it DE's fault just makes me laugh about the whole Event and basically all the people that still take it seriously.

I hope war doesn't count. It's not contested and can't be contested.

My guess is that it would have been used as a tie breaker. 16 mission + War is the full 17. If there had been an even 8 split then War would have been used to push Corpus into the Win slot (defenders advantage). However that seems a ritual impossibility at this point.

No... in a literal sense it really was, it was confirmed in a tweet that Grineer purposly got the better rewards in the beginning which in the long run decided which side alot of people would take.

I never said the event was fair, though.

No matter what happened, roughly half the community would be mad at the end of this type of event.

What about "Not caring" is so hard for you to understand, buddy?

Your words say "Not caring" but your emotional tone says Passionate Anger.
