Thoughts on "Content Islands" - Turn them to Archipelagos or Give them an Update

Content Islands -> Archipelago

interconnection of the open world planets via indirect or direct means (different mission types suchs as: jail break, escort, 3 part misisons for boss kill (new bossess))

the "revolution" has begun Tenno, the resistance to the 3 way power balance can not be handled alone, the help you have created will help you lead the way against upcoming threats.

(Plains Update) Elvish - "Umbral Forrest" - Plains Update, unlocked by completing the starchart (updates the Plains of Eidolon)
a hidden forest of the remnants of the orokin slaves have been hidden, till now. founded by the daughter of Umbral Excal, they follow the way of the Dax, in order to protect the remnants of the Orikin citizens and their culture (this could show the tension between the average citizen and the nobility or the Orikin Society).
content: elven like forrest where nature takes hold. help the people to defend agaisnt the grineer with an intent to find new sources for longevity for their queens.
Create Bows/Crossbows/Throwable weapons - low tech


(Fortuna Update) Dwarven - " Vulcan Mines"  Fortuna Update, unlocked by completing the starchart (updates Fortuna)
Content: The escaped, the survivors, the wanted by the corpus. the home base for the Vox Solaris. (could introduce Raid systems again)
Create melee weapons(High Tech):
Hammers/Swords/ Sword and Shield

Connective Tissue between the worlds could make the game feel more "alive" and could bring back content creators and veterans and more themes for Fashion Frame


New Mission Types:
 
Jailbreaks - Like a Rescue mission but set up in 3 different parts: Rescue(save 3 - 9, hacking necessary to turn off jail systems) /Escort (Escort them to an Armour Vehicle) / Extraction (Protect Vehicle till Ship picks it up)
its a mixture Spy/Rescue-Defection/Hijack. Assault is similar in some senses so mixing some mission types is not something new.

Bounty Hunting - instead of killing one major boss, kill 3 sub bosses, to "wanted men". it could consist of a 5 Min survival + Sabotage to bother the "Kingpins" after you anger them they come out and you assassinate them.

Siege - Assault/Liberation type having these missions only on the kuva fortress seems limiting the mission types and the adaptability for the mission types for other factions, this could be translated into raiding a fortress and making them a home base for the Tenno Faction. this mission could be set up into 2 parts frontal Assult could be set up as a mobile defense to take down their turrets, security systems, then to open the gates.

these updates could create new quests, that albeit don't progress the overall story, could create a better world building experience for new and old players. "content is king", however and we seems to have burned through the lot of it already. instead of making new worlds that tend to become another content island, updating old worlds could bring back interests in the Plains or Fortuna, for those who really liked those world but have already burned through the content. from what ive noticed we like having new things, weapons, stories and content to go through. i like (space battles are fun as hell) railjack and the efforts DE is making into a bigger part of warframe, as it has a lot of potential, but the old worlds also have a lot of potential if expanded or its lore and "use". Updating them just like with Railjack could make the the world building and playing the game grow along with the player.

 

i have more ideas but this what ive got for now.

Sounds cool could give a real feeling of progression in the world they could put something like that behind a MR rank that way you would have a purpose to lvl your stuff on the way and get rewarded by doing so with actual content.

Something like you got MR 18 something happend on Fortuna you should go there and talk to Eudico about it she will tell you that there is a giant magma cave in the Vallis opened by the corpus they did not find the miners yet but you have to save them and after that you got an new cave with a little bit of lore much more ores for those who havn't farmed anought of it to biuld all the fortuna things or you just want to get some standing by mining and maybe a raid or something like that.

The same thing for PoE and Deimos MR 20 a part of a forest grew though the shield now you can go though it, got MR 19 some caves rewired on Deimos now there is a raid hole.

yea, i feel like creating sub sections for the ope worlds could generate new player interest and deal with the content drought, and it will reward players who have reached MR over 12+ instead of making it a badge, it can reward player who have made the effort by unlocking more quests. like its already a requirement to have a certain MR for some solar rails so idk why its not used more for rewarding players. also, expanding a bit more on theTenno faction could be like establishing  a "federation" or "coalition" of colonies
