Controller Lock-Up Managing Crew

See title; cursor drifts on its own and will potentially lock-up all functionality when selecting crew members, which subsequently results in having to restart the game.

I can't find any other posts on this that aren't from years ago, but this is a common issue I'm running into in all aspects of the game, typically when there's heavy lag from someone joining a mission or loading out of a mission or even in the arsenal. A few friends have had this issue as well.

 

Turning off the controller and turning it back on fixes the issue so you don't need to restart. The cursor drift is from the same issue of the controls locking as if the controller turns off but the game doesn't do the pop up since your controller is still on. I'm assuming it's a hiccup in the connection during times of high lag.
