Tysis cannot equip pistol skins, while other Infested pistols can.

Its all in the title. The Tysis is a fun gun, but it cannot equip any pistol skins. Another Infested gun of a very similar look and setup, the Zymos, can. Is there any way we can enable skin-equipping on the Tysis?
