Cobra & Crane Attacks Always Starting With First Basic Combo Attack

Good day, Devs, I'm not sure if this problem is only on Switch, but it's been bugging me. No matter the stance whether it's Eleventh Storm or Final Harbinger, whenever I use Cobra & Crane, no matter what attack I try to do, I always start with the first basic combo attack, then the next attack I intended to do. For example, I intend to do a slide attack. It's always either the shield bash or the double upward strike first, THEN the slide attack. It's baffling and irritating me... will this be looked into and fixed in the next update?
