DE if you are done with cinematic quests, at least give us some closure

It feels like we have been stuck on a cliff-hanger ever since the sacrifice ended years ago, its okay with me if the cinematic quests end, but i just want a satisfing ending to the main story, please be honest and tell us what is going on, the game doesn't technically need to end completely just because a story arc ends

I can tell you. I mean, it's not like DE has been coy about where they are going, but apparently not everyone gets the memo...

They are working at the next installments of the story, which will continue the main story, and the cinematic quests, in the context of The New War. This will almost certainly involve a facedown between our Tenno, Natah and Erra.

 

As for "when", the answer is "who knows at this point". The current story arc (the Sentient-Natah story arc) started with the quest Natah in 2015 and they have proceeded with one story installment every... two years?...

Covid pandemic put cinematic quest development to a halt. Reason for that is they cannot do Motion Capture sessions with the pandemic restrictions.

They did motion capture sessions? Certainly didn't show in the animations themselves.
