SupernovaSymphony
Heya. SO I haven't played warframe in a while, but this post is a bit over due. I Know for a fact I was in the minority when I played in the fact that I actually used my stances even during the spin to win meta at its peak. (Dark days) I've played every single stance in the game THOROUGHLY and have even made charts to help pick stances that are fun to use for every weapon. Final harbinger was my favourite stance. It was one of two that were rated so high on my chart, because it felt AMAZING TO use. The sheer mobility as you zoomed though groups of enemies chopping then up felt incredible. The rework to stances was much needed, but I feel it should have just affected how the combo was triggered, rather than reworking it significantly. I would love to see a return to the old Final harbinger stance, the one where you could slide great distances while riding your shield. It was pure joy to use it, and Im so sad to see it gone. It lacks so much of the charm it once had. Anyway, ty for your time, I hope this reaches some sympathetic ears
quxier
Final "Hairbringer" were better for mobility from 2 stances. I miss it as well. Lots of stances or weapons were changed (nerfed). Now we are on melee vs guns so I don't see any significant change for melee.

I mean, a big reason why melee is even being touted is the false equivalence that all melee stances have the performance on level of gunblades, glaives, nikanas, etc. So a big stance fix line that also smushes all above 4.5x damage attack chains down to 4.5~ish multi at most would be another decent step on that front. And return the og promise that got retconned on patch notes that all forward combos would have free movement (along with maybe returning keyboard steer on dashes much like how slide attacks still have it). They have to first swap/fix normal & forward combos for some weapons. And probably some other mid-combo attacks that don't fit. Normal combos moves you forward while forward combos won't move you forward that much.

Yup, tho thats just traits of the animation locks they got. Not that i wouldnt mind Rempo Toyale returning to its old Tempo Royale self (or even slightly upgraded - forward, static, block forward respectively). This too. I miss the high mobility slice flip. You couold literally attack over gaps with it and make it to the other side. I loved how the combos were easier to get off, but I hate that they gibbed the mobility of so many. Tempo royal and Final harbinger were my number one and two favourite stances and now they feel mediocre to play. I want the old stances back with the new usability
Prexades
DE always gives in to feedback from players who would not use the weapons anyway and then make stance changes for the worse. Final Harbinger is not the only victim and I fear it won't be the last.

The stances that needed an actual rework didnt really get one, like the whips, staves and 2 of the dagger stances. They desperately needed work, but Final Harbinger and Tempo Royal were just pure glee to play before the rework. It sucks I cant just suddenly revert back and many people dont even realise what they've missed out on
